Beautiful clean house. Very tastefully decorated and everything you need for a comfortable stay has been carefully considered. We loved the location just a few minutes from Askham and Easy access to Penrith and Ullswater. Would love book it again in the future.

A gorgeous and extremely comfortable well equipped house. The garden is beautiful too. Extremely peaceful and Ruth was an absolute gem helping us out during our stay. I would highly recommend!

This is without a doubt one of nicest places we’ve ever stayed in. It is beautifully done and decorated, and had absolutely everything we needed for a fantastic stay, even some very thoughtful extras that we really appreciated. Host is very helpful and responsive and helped me with running route recommendation.We’re really looking forward to visiting again.

What a beautiful home for our stay.Immaculately clean throughout with really nice touches, including a lovely welcome pack with nice personal card, bath robes/ slippers provided by Ruth, making our stay even more special.All modern kitchen items etc. and well presented, comfortable bedrooms. In a nice quiet area with views and a lovely well kept garden with a nice patio area to relax outside. The best VRBO home we have stayed in so we will be back when possible.Thanks Ruth.

This stay was incredible. The only downside was that we didn’t plan to stay longer and it will overshadow the other stays along our trip. What a beautiful property and garden area. This home near Penrith is a very modern, fully-equipped property, with everything needed to prepare any family meal. You’ll love the very private flowered garden for a quiet drink or dinner on the 2 Patios. The Bedrooms are bright & airy, along with the 2 roomy bathrooms. The property is centrally located, in close proximity to many of the popular sights in Lake District. The Owner is very friendly and conscientious of her guests, and always looking for ways to make her guest’s stay special, sometimes providing “After Sales Service”, when possible. We would highly recommend this very comfortable property for a wonderful holiday stay!

Thank you Ruth for an amazing stay. Easy check-in. Lovely welcome hamper. The kitchen is really well equipped - not just utensils/crockery but every sauce/condiment/herb/spice you could possibly need! We cooked really comfortably multiple times. There is a huge bookcase full of books and games. Comfy beds. House and garden are just gorgeous and you can tell a lot of thought/love has been put into the place. Ruth was flexible with check-in/out times.

Immaculate holiday home and very well furnished. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the welcome basket, books and board games to the quality furnishings, plants, garden, and kitchenware. The property felt luxurious yet welcoming, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding, beautiful views, and a lovely garden to enjoy. The peaceful, quiet surroundings made for a truly relaxing stay, and the EV charger was a convenient bonus. Ruth kept us informed at all times and was approachable and helpful throughout.
