There is a covered well within the grounds of this property.. Crofthead is the idyllic chocolate box cottage with delightful panoramic views. This traditional detached Lakeland cottage also benefits from a stunning location, surrounded by open pasture, with sheep quietly grazing and the spectacular backdrop of the Caldbeck Fells. The delightful lawned garden with great views, is perfect to relax and unwind in, following a great day’s walking. Crofthead oozes charm, character and quality, with both antique and modern furnishings enhancing the cosy cottage ambience, but with modern bathroom and kitchen, with excellent range of appliances and facilities. This quiet corner of the Lakes is ideal not only for walking, but also cycling along quiet country lanes and relaxing in tranquil surroundings. The pretty villages of Hesket New Market and Caldbeck are both very close, each with traditional pubs, shops and cafes.
