Easedale Stay

Fantastic time staying at Easedale cottage. We have been coming to Keswick for the last 20 years as a family, staying in various cottages. This cottage is one of the best we have stayed in over the years. Well done Keswick Cottages for the fantastic information we received and well done to the owners we had a great stay and will be back.

A glorious week in Keswick

What an absolute stunning property this is ! On entry we were met by the most incredible views of the Lakeland fells. Absolutely breathtaking. We loved everything about the house from the gorgeous smell, the furnishings, the decor, the bedrooms & the modern kitchen / dining area. The house is very spacious & has an added bonus of a utility room for coats & boots. The dog wash a great addition too ! The house is in a quiet location just outside of the town centre but is only a short 10 minute walk to reach the shops, bars & lake. We dropped on for glorious weather so spent some time on the patio with a glass of wine taking in that awesome view. Just stunning ! We will definitely return & highly recommended Keswick Cottages for their help & knowledge when choosing a property.

Hi there! Wow — thank you so much for such a wonderful review. We’re absolutely delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your stay. There’s nothing quite like arriving and being greeted by those incredible Lakeland fell views, so it’s fantastic to hear they made such an impression from the moment you walked through the door. We loved reading your description of the property — from the furnishings and décor to the spacious layout, modern kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms. It’s great to know the utility room proved useful too, and we're especially pleased the dog wash was appreciated after days out exploring the fells with your four-legged companion! [Emoji Removed] The location really does offer the best of both worlds: peaceful surroundings and stunning scenery, whilst being just a short stroll from the shops, restaurants, and lakeside attractions of Keswick. It sounds like you picked the perfect week for it too — enjoying a glass of wine on the patio whilst taking in those views sounds idyllic. Your kind words about our team mean a great deal to us as a small, local, family-run business. We take great pride in matching guests with the right property, so it’s lovely to hear our knowledge and advice helped you find somewhere so special. Thank you again for your recommendation. We’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back for another stay in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

It's all about the view ..... but what a view. A wonderful property to spend a week

We already had an idea of what to expect from the excellent online pictures. We were not disappointed. Yes, this property is all about the view from the lounge, main bedroom and "doctor's waiting room" in the hallway. When the sun shines, you want to find an excuse to try and book again. The property was exceptionally clean on arrival. Yes, the property is not in Keswick town, but the little hamlet (8 houses) of Thrushdale is just outside of town and you can walk into the main centre in less than 30 minutes. The benefit is the peace and quiet of solitude ... as well as parking for 2+ cars on the driveway at the house. There are 3 good sized bedrooms. Two en-suite and the third almost ensuite as there are no other rooms upstairs. There are FOUR toilets in the house, including the en-suite and main bathroom. The garden is large and fully enclosed, but the fence at the back could be jumped by an active dog if they wanted to say hello to the sheep in the field. Overall, a wonderful property and we would book again. Well done also to Keswick COttages for your prompt support on a couple of (minor) issues.
