Easedale - a cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
Upon entering the property, you are welcomed into the spacious, bright hallway, full of light, setting the mood for a spectacular stay.
To the right of the hallway is the large, modern kitchen with a dining table that comfortably seats six people. In the kitchen, you'll find everything you need to enjoy your self-catering break, with the added bonus of panoramic fell views. You don't get those at home! The kitchen has a free-standing fridge-freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. For added convenience, there is also a dishwasher and Tassimo coffee pod machine.
Further down the hallway is a handy utility room, where you'll find a sink and washing machine. There are plenty of hooks for wet coats, and a seat for taking off muddy boots! This can be accessed from the side of the house, handy if you've been on a particularly wet or muddy walk! There is also access to the garage via this room.
At the end of the hallway, there is a large, comfortable living room with stylish sofas and a Smart TV. This is the perfect space to relax after a day exploring the Lake District.
There are two bedrooms downstairs. Both are king rooms with en-suite shower rooms comprising of WC, sink, shower, and heated towel rails. Both bedrooms have ample storage, and the main bedroom has views across the fields and over to the fells. Not a view you wake up to every morning, but you certainly can at Easedale!
Also downstairs is a separate WC and a seating area that overlooks the rear garden. Here, you will find books and games to keep the whole family entertained, perfect for those rainy Lake District days, (and we have a few...) unwinding in the evenings, or for screen-free entertainment.
Moving upstairs, we have the twin bedroom, complete with wardrobe, dressing table, seat and large Velux windows. Down the hall is the family bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and sink.
To the rear of the property is a large, split-level garden. The upper level is paved, with seating and steps down to the lawned area. Why not enjoy a glass of wine (or two, or three...) while enjoying the views?
Easedale is the ideal home to make memories in the Lake District. Whether you're visiting with family, solo travelling, or looking for a romantic getaway, you'll want for nothing in this second-to-none hidden gem in the Lake District.
