Le Moulin de Villeverneix is an old, fully restored family home, a paradise for nature lovers: trees, water, birds, fish.
The property includes a house for 6 people and a dovecote for 2 people, making a total welcome for 8 people.

THE HOUSE :
On the ground floor: large living room and dining room (70M2), monumental fireplace open on 2 sides.
Equipped kitchen: dishwasher, oven, microwave, 5-burner stove, fridge freezer.
Technical room with washing machine, iron and ironing board,

Upstairs :
3 bedrooms with 140 cm bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom (sink, shower, WC) with heated towel rail and reversible air conditioning.
In front of the house, large meadow,
 carport.
You also have access to an island of more than one hectare:
nestled in lush greenery, bordered on one side by the Vern stream, on the other by the mill canal, a charming dovecote on the edge of a small pond and a waterfall, as well as an arbor adjoining the dovecote surrounded by a wooded part and a meadow part.

On the ground floor :
1 kitchen with fireplace for grilling, gas, fridge.
Upstairs, a bedroom, which is accessed by a milling ladder, furnished with a 140 bed, sink, WC, reversible air conditioning.
Under the arbor, a large table and 8 chairs.
Hammocks, Chileans, deckchairs invite you to rest in this privileged place.

Absolutely beautiful property, immaculate, really well-equipped and comfortable. Just be aware the pond / mill is about 100m from the house down a short track so not suitable for young children on their own. We found loads to do lically, and everyone was very friendly

This is the most fantastic and unusual property you can possibly rent! We spent two delightful weeks there with our two dogs. Excellent and very well equipped house with extraordinary charm. Very friendly and generous hosts. And a charming island!!! A place to return to. Lena and Serge.

Bon emplacement pour visiter les Périgord blanc, vert et pourpre. Nous avons regretté que le terrain ne soit pas attenant au moulin (petite route à traverser) il y a un grand terrain autour du pigeonnier mais assez loin de la maison principale..

Grande maison bien aménagée ( 3 salles de bain et 4 WC, climatisation dans chaque pièce, électroménagers de bonne qualité, lits parfaits )mais on retrouve les mêmes inconvénients que dans beaucoup d'autres locations: ménage moyen, beaucoup trop de vaisselle ancienne encombrant les placards , poêles en mauvais état,etc.

Bel endroit pour se ressourcer au calme !

Très belle propriété pour les amoureux de la nature et de la pêche. Demeure très confortable et trés bien équipée. Commerces à proximité et de belles ballades à programmer. Marché de St Astier le jeudi, un incontournable ! Trés bon accueil du propriétaire. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé une semaine agréable avec notre bébé de 6 semaines et un couple d’amis et leur fille d’un an. La maison est propre, confortable et bien équipée. Roselyne avait mis à disposition un lit parapluie, une chaise haute et une petite piscine gonflable pour les bébés. Le seul bémol que l’on peut noter c’est de ne pas avoir le terrain extérieur devant la maison. Il faut marcher quelques minutes pour accéder au terrain du pigeonnier ombragé et équipé de mobilier extérieur.

Optimales Objekt. Super Ausstattung.

Das Objekt hatte alles was man sich für seinen Urlaub wünscht. Aufteilung der Schlafräume mit jeweils eigenem Bad, grosser Aufenthaltsraum mit grossen beidseitigem Kamin für Ess- und Wohnzimmer, Flair und Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten im Perigord.

Wundervolles Haus im Perigord / Magnifique maison en Périgord

Ein wundervolles Haus in Neuvic. Liebevoll und sehr gut renoviert, hoher Standard bei der Ausstattung. Im EG ein großes Wohn-/Esszimmer mit beeindruckendem Kamin, eine Küche mit allem was das Herz eines Freizeitkochs begehrt und ein kleiner Raum mit Waschmaschine und Gäste WC. Im OG drei schöne Schlafzimmer mit guten und festen Betten, dazu 3 tolle neue Bäder/WC jeweils en Suite. Die Vermieterin ist sehr sympathisch und macht eine leckere Marmelade :) Dazu kommt auf der anderen Straßenseite des Hauses ein separates Grundstück, das man ebenfalls nutzen kann. Ein paar Meter zu gehen und dann ist man an einem herrlichen Garten mit einem Seerosenteich, einem Taubenhaus mit Küche und einem Schlafzimmer/WC, dazu eine überdachte Veranda mit Tisch/Stühlen/Liegen und einem Grill. Vollkommen ruhig und abgeschieden, genau das Richtige, wenn man sich erholen möchte. In Neuvic sind verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten, das Schloss, eine Ölmühle mit hervorragenden Nussölen, eine Stör-/Kaviarfarm und gute Restaurants (Le Cilaos, Kayola und Chez Bonnebouche etc) aber auch im erweiterten Kreis finden sich gute Restaurants wie in St. Astier das "Palombieres". Von Neuvic aus hat man eine gute Ausgangsbasis das Perigord zu erkunden, Bergerac, Sarlat, oder ein Abstecher nach Bordeaux sind möglich. Wir kommen gerne wieder, herzlichen Dank! Une maison magnifique à Neuvic. Amoureusement et très bien rénové, haut standard d'équipement. Au rez-de-chaussée un grand salon/salle à manger avec une impressionnante cheminée, une cuisine avec tout ce que le cœur d'une cuisine de loisirs désire et une petite pièce avec lave-linge et WC invités. A l'étage supérieur, il y a trois belles chambres à coucher avec de bons et fixes lits, plus 3 nouvelles salles de bains/WC, chacune en suite. La propriétaire est très amicale et fait une délicieuse confiture :) De l'autre côté de la maison il y a un terrain séparé qui peut aussi être utilisé. A quelques mètres à pied, vous êtes dans un magnifique jardin avec un étang aux nénuphars, un pigeonnier avec cuisine et une chambre/WC, ainsi qu'une véranda couverte avec table/chaises/chaises longues et un barbecue. Complètement calme et isolé, juste ce qu'il vous faut si vous voulez vous détendre. A Neuvic il y a plusieurs curiosités, le château, un moulin à huile avec d'excellentes huiles de noix, une ferme d'esturgeon/caviar et de bons restaurants (Le Cilaos, Kayola et Chez Bonnebouche etc). Nous serons heureux de revenir, merci beaucoup

Sehr schön, aber im Winter sehr kalt durch das Wasser von der Mühle. Für Kinder nicht geeignet, da die Strasse sehr belebt ist und das Tempolimit von 30 km nicht eingehalten wird.

super Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden der wunderschönen Gegend und zum Erholen

Wir, eine Familie mit Teanagern, haben hier einen schönen, erholsamen Urlaub verbracht. Leider nur eine Woche. Die drei Schlafzimmer sind hübsch eingerichtet und jedes verfügt über ein Bad. Das Wohnzimmer und der Essbereich sind liebevoll dekoriert und auch groß genug für 6 Personen. Wir haben zwar das auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite auf einem sehr großen Grundstück befindliche idyllische Taubenhaus nicht zur Übernachtung genutzt. Man konnte dort aber ungestört draußen sitzen. Zum Grillen und für ein Picknick ist dort alles vorhanden. Der Ort Neuvic bietet für einen relativ kleinen Ort mit Schloss, einem schönen Park, einer Kaviarfarm, einer Ölmühle, einem Schwimmbad, Reiten und Kanufahren reichlich Ausflugsziele. Nach Perigueux ist es nicht weit und man kann fast jeden Tag einen anderen Markt in der Gegend besuchen und sich mit ausgezeichnetem Obst, Gemüse und den regionalen Köstlichkeit eindecken.Im Ort gibt es einen Bäcker bzw. Konditor und daneben einen Fleischer, die beide über ein sehr ansprechendes Sortiment verfügen. Eine Bank und ein Supermarkt sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Mdm. Beau hat uns ausgezeichnete Tips gegeben, insbesondere auch für das Essen, ihre Pfirsichmarmelade war äusserst lecker! So lässt es sich leben! Vielen Dank!

Nice property and area

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed the property and surrounding areas. I would mention that the Dovecote is a fair distance from the house and a car is needed when its dark for light purposes. The dovecote is not suitable for adults maybe teenages, its very bleak and smells of damp and the ladder leading to the bedroom is very steep. I would also mention that you are asked to pay for the electricity you use and also for towels to be supplied, which is all additional costs not mentioned in the porperty details. The owner only speaks french, which is quite difficult when making cash transactions.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus mit großem Garten am Mühlbach

Sehr gut ausgestattetes, gepflegtes Ferienhaus für 3x2 Personen im Haupthaus und 2 weiteren Schlafplätzen im 150 m entfernten Taubenturm (rapunzelartig). Einziger Nachteil im Taubenturm: es gibt dort nur Toilette und Waschbecken, aber keine Dusche (dafür im Haupthaus drei sehr gute). Wir haben die Lage, die Ausstattung und die gute Verkehrsanbindung sehr geschätzt. Wäre auch für den nächsten Dordogne-Urlaub wieder erste Wahl.

Un Gîte très agréable

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre semaine passée dans cette belle demeure qui ne manque pas de cachet, surtout grâce à sa cheminée monumentale. La propriétaire est d'une extrême gentillesse, très accueillante. La région est très jolie, à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques et de chemins de randonnées. Le tout donne envie d'y retourner. A recommander chaleureusement.
