Curlew Cottage is a detached, romantic cottage located in a rural setting two miles from the village of Longnor in the Peak District National Park. With one double bedroom, this cottage can sleep two people. The rest of the cottage includes a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with decking and furniture. Curlew Cottage is a delightful, detached cottage set in a pretty area, with a great selection of traditional villages to explore, and wonderful walking and cycling trails nearby.



The Neighborhood:

Situated in beautiful countryside on the Staffordshire Moorlands the charming Peak village of Longnor is located close to both the River Dove and the River Manifold. This tranquil little settlement makes an excellent touring centre and boasts several shops, a post office, tea shop, craft centre and a beautiful church. The market square itself is cobbled and a scale of charges is still posted on a board outside the market hall, adding to the old-world charm of the place. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the Spa town of Buxton are all within easy driving distance, as is the attractive market town of Bakewell and the ever popular Alton Towers theme park.

Heel mooi huis met een prachtig uitzicht.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit huis. Het huis was perfect. De eigenaren zijn erg aardig en willen je overal bij helpen. Het enigste minpunt was dat er geen eigen wifi aanwezig is. Wij hebben uiteindelijk de wifi code van de eigenaren gekregen, maar moesten daarvoor telkens bij hun in de tuin gaan zitten. Vonden wij vervelend.
