Minutes away from the Sponge docks, Downtown, beaches, and hidden gems - the location of this listing is little distance from it all! All guests in our party throughly enjoyed that aspect, along with the beautiful and clean interior of the home. The exterior definitely could use some love, but we choose to look at it as “it’s what’s on the inside that really counts”. That being said, we would have liked to have seen better communication/ efforts (in some cases) coming from the host. We arrived and entered the home to find a very overlooked green pool. We lost an entire day of pool access on the only sunny day of our trip, for the pool to be shocked and the break-point chlorination period. We immediately brought it to the host’s attention upon entering, and although they rectified it the following day - it would have been nice to have this type of thing taken care of before we arrived. The host remained in almost immediate contact with us with any questions/concerns we’ve had for the remainder of the trip - which we so appreciated. Overall, the stay was pleasant and good :)

To clarify, basically what happened with the pool was that the power went out and the pool's circuit breaker tripped, and the pool pump wasn't working. The next day it was fixed; it was just an electrical problem. Everything went back to normal the following day. The pool is cleaned and maintained every Friday. The maintenance woman told me the pump hadn't been working for two days, which is why the pool was like that. I don't know what she means about the exterior! I hope to see you again soon.
