The apartment was lovely and comfortable. Very clean and situated in a fun area with lots of cafes and bars. This did, however, mean it was quite noisy. The check-in process is not ideal. The key cafe did not have our key when we arrived so the code we had been provided did not work. We weren’t able to call anyone so had to rely on emails back and forth with the host to sort the situation. Eventually someone arrived with our key. Likewise, when we went to return the key, the code again did not work which meant we had to go back to the apartment which is a 10 minute walk from the key cafe. Not a great system when you are having to catch a flight and have a lot of luggage.

Pros-has a working lift, located right in the center of a delightful neighborhood which felt safe with restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, & Metro stops only blocks away. Only a short walk to the Seine and to Notre Dame. The fan was greatly appreciated as well. Cons-There was no air conditioning and it was almost unbearably hot, also no toilet paper or dishwasher pods & it was pretty loud at night with people singing and partying at the bar. The walk from the key pick up was pretty long to do in the heat, dragging luggage and especially after not sleeping much the night prior while flying. A better system for key retrieval, closer to the flat would have been appreciated. The drop off location was a lot better since we stored our bags at a place only a couple blocks away. Overall, we loved it and would return but never again in the height of summer, during a heatwave. Thank you!
