Welcome to Tinners Cottage, a beautifully presented Grade II Listed romantic hideaway nestled in a peaceful hamlet near the north Cornish coastal village of Pendeen. Set within a designated National Landscape, this charming mid-terraced former miner’s cottage sleeps two guests and has been lovingly renovated to an exceptional standard, blending original character with stylish, contemporary interiors.

Step through the traditional stable door into the welcoming kitchen and dining area, where granite worktops and slate flooring set the tone for this characterful space. Fully equipped with an electric hob, electric oven, microwave, coffee pod machine and under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, it provides everything needed to prepare a romantic meal for two. The dining area sits beside the window overlooking the garden, creating a peaceful spot to enjoy relaxed meals together. A few steps lead through to the cosy sitting room, where contemporary furnishings and a warming wood burner set within a granite inglenook fireplace make this the perfect space to unwind after a day exploring the Cornish coast.

Upstairs, a stepped landing leads to the beautifully presented bedroom, featuring a king size bed, exposed hanging space and shelving, with far-reaching countryside views to wake up to each morning. On the same level, a further step leads into the modern shower room, complete with enclosed shower, wash hand basin and WC.

Outside, the private cottage garden offers a peaceful retreat, ideal for relaxing with a good book or enjoying al fresco dining on sunny evenings.

Perfectly positioned for walkers, the cottage provides easy access to the South West Coast Path, with scenic routes towards Sennen and St Ives, while nearby Pendeen Watch Lighthouse and Boat Cove offer dramatic coastal scenery and excellent opportunities for wildlife spotting, particularly seals, along this stunning stretch of coastline.

Tinner’s Cottage is a Grade II Listed Cornish Miner’s Cottage and some ceilings and doors throughout the holiday home have height restrictions.

Due to severe allergies. Dogs (or any visiting dogs) are not permitted, as exposure to dog hair and skin particles has serious health consequences for the owner of the property.

Access Statement- The cottage features narrow stairs and stepped landings which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Pendeen is a traditional Cornish mining village set along Cornwall’s dramatic north coast. The village offers a local shop, coffee shop and welcoming pub, The North Inn, while nearby Geevor Tin Mine provides a fascinating insight into Cornwall’s mining heritage. The spectacular coastline is ideal for walking, photography and wildlife spotting.

A short drive away, the bustling fishing port of Newlyn offers excellent seafood, galleries and independent shops. The iconic seaside town of St Ives, with its beautiful beaches, thriving arts scene and renowned museums, is easily reached by car or train from Penzance. Further west, the world-famous Minack Theatre at Porthcurno provides an unforgettable setting for open-air performances overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
