Before stepping into this 16th-century cottage, take a moment to appreciate its traditional red-brick exterior. Head inside and find that the historic charm continues in the form of roaring wood burners, sloping eaves, and exposed walls and timber beams. Be greeted by the farmhouse-style kitchen, which features everything needed for a self-catered stay, including a breakfast table for easy dining and a wood burner for chillier days. The lounge/diner forms the social heart of the home, boasting a long wooden dining table and ample soft seating arranged around a statement wood burner and Smart TV. Just off the lounge, a snug offers space for the group to spread out and unwind, featuring a sofa and a choice of toys and games. When it’s time to call it a night, head upstairs and find a choice of four restful bedrooms spread across the first and second floors. On the first floor is a super-king-size room with an en-suite shower room, plus a king-size bedroom served by the nearby family bathroom. Up on the second floor, set under the sloping eaves of the building, you’ll find another king-size bedroom and a cosy twin room.
Spill outside and make full use of the peaceful, fully enclosed garden.
