Sugar Beach Resort is located north of downtown Kihei on beautiful Sugar Beach. Sugar Beach stretches for miles on Maui's Maalaea Bay. Stay in our Hawaiian condo and it will be a vacation you will never forget. Sugar Beach Resort is just a 15 minute drive from Maui's Kahului Airport. Enjoy the morning sunrise on the lanai while drinking your coffee before starting your day with all the best kinds of Hawaii fun. We are located right on the beach for beautiful beach walks, swimming, snorkeling and other water sports.
Maui has so many wonderful things to offer. There is Mount Haleakala, at 10,023 ft above sea level, a massive volcano, with a scenic drive all the way to the top (or bike!). Arrive at the top in time for the sunrise or bring your hiking shoes and tour the moonlike trail systems.
Come in the winter months and tp see migrating whales!
Maui has miles of beaches! Rent surf boards, paddle boards or snorkel gear and witness all the beautiful amazing sea life right off the shore!

Beautiful Condo

We have stayed at this unit a couple of times now and it is our very favorite. Beautiful condo, great amenities, fabulous view and centrally located so convenient to get to a lot of places on the island. We love it and will definitely be back!

The view is amazing

We are a elderly couple. It was easy check in, parking tag for vehicle, codes for pool entry, clean, quiet, all the necessities, Tv fire stick and beach equipment. We loved it. Don't miss visiting Maui at this condo.

A great week

We were in town for a wedding in Kihei at the Sugar Hill Estate just a few doors down. Staying in this location was fantastic. It was really fun working remote from the back deck each day and watching the beach activity wake up. Great walking beach with lots of bodysurfing. Very quiet, family oriented, friendly location. This unit was immaculate with all the basics provided. Equipped with everything you need to hit the beach minutes after arrival including beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella!

A week in paradise

The pictures for this listing were spot on to what we encountered. There were no surprises except the view from the balcony was even better than we would have dreamed of. The location was great. Just a short distance away from all the shops and restaurants but far enough that the beach was almost our own private paradise. We wanted to come back next spring break but it is booked already for our week. :( We will be back!

Whale watching from our Lanai

This was our second year staying at Sugar Beach. We love this property and the central location on the island and the amazing friends we make each year. We very much enjoyed all the amenities of this condo. It was very comfortable and had everything we need to enjoy the amazing property and view. We were able to enjoy a view of the whales playing every time we were back at the property relaxing after enjoying our planned activities for the day. We highly recommend this property for you next stay in Maui. That is unless your trip happens to conflict with when we would like to book our next trip.

Sugar Beach

There were many things we liked about this property and overall it was a good experience and I would return. My concerns are cleanliness, especially the floor and lanai. Also, the dryer vent and other units fan/vents seems to empty into our shower. We had smokers ( both tobacco and weed) that we complained about but we were unable to identify which rooms they were in. This is not the fault of management however. The shower handle completely fell off the wall but the management was very responsive. Overall a good stay.

What a view!

What a great rental! Everything was in excellent condition and squeeky clean. The applicances and furnishings are high end and in excellent condition. The condo is stocked well with items you need. The check in was simple. We used the pool and jacuzzi and always found it clean. This unit is steps to the beach and has convenient places to clean your feet and gear when you come off thee beach. Parking was easy and we had no problem getting covered parking. The BEST part of this whole week was the balcony and view from the condo. The balcony faces south and you can watch the sunrise and the sunset from the comfort of the balcony. We saw turtles feeding 20 yards off shore and watched whales breech in the bay – all from the balcony. The balcony furniture is comfortable and in excellent condition. The sliding glass doors open fully so your living room extend out to the balcony. You can be on the beautiful beach walking in 2 minutes. The beach is wonderful soft sand ½ mile east and at lest a mile west. The unit is stocked with sand chairs and a cooler. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise and the sounds and sights of the ocean was fantastic! The owner were very responsive. The bad storm that hit Maui just before we arrived had knocked out the power to the elevators and the owners texted me before we got to Maui to let us know. The elevator was fixed the next day. Don’t settle for a partial ocean view – you want this full ocean view on the 5th floor that is stunning!

Comfortable condo

Very well equipped condo with everything you will need. Very clean and comfortable condo with gorgeous views. Close to everything. Farmer's market close by had the sweetest mangos and strawberry papayas if you're craving local, delicious fruits. Thank you for making your condo feel like home.

Everything was amazing!

We have stayed in 10 different units at Sugar Beach, this was our favorite. All appliances are Kitchen Aid, the bed was very comfortable. The views from the lanai were amazing.

Perfect place to unwind

Outstanding! The views were spectacular and we loved hearing the waves crashing on the beach. The condo was clean, well-equipped and perfect for two people. The beach and pool were steps away from the building. Everything was nice and quiet — practically had the beach to ourselves. We hope to return!

We've had our eyes on properties in Maui for years. We love Kihei because of its small town vibe, nice beaches and good resturants. We knew we wanted a beach front place of our own and we are so happy to share it with you! As a new VRBO owners we are very interested in making sure your stay meets all your expectations.
