Good afternoon Deb, i'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us recently. We strive to make all our guests feel comfortable and offer them 5 star amenities at an affordable rate. Let me address all your issues you have listed and if that isn't satisfactory i'll be happy to give you a call and address any of your concerns. The lock is a lock that you have to put the code in to access the house, this is to make our guests lives easier than having a lockbox with a key. That being said the lock is not faulty, you just have to pull the door towards you when locking and unlocking. As for the steps, there are no steps to the property, i'm unsure as to what steps you are referring to. We do not have any steps to the property and the pictures we provide online are an accurate depiction of what the property looks like so if you refer back to those you will see there are no steps. We always answer all of our guests very quickly (usually within 10 minutes) i looked back to make certain all your messages didn't go unanswered and i saw you never reached out to express your frustrations. I would have been very happy to assist you with any need you may have had. Moreover, the home is 500 square feet which makes it challenging to add extra tables and seating. We have placed all the necessary furniture a guest may need during their stay. We'd be happy to see if we can put a little table by the bed to make our future guests more comfortable. As for the tv, i never received any message from you asking how to operate the tv, i would have gladly assisted you. When it comes to cleanliness we take pride in how thorough we clean each and every one of our properties, i would have gladly sent the cleaning lady over to take care of any issues you may have had. Finally, i appreciate you expressing your concerns, we strive to always find ways to improve and give all our guests a five star experience.

We are sorry you had to take care of the bin, we do not expect our guests to drag the trash to the street as it is picked up from its current location. Trash is normally picked up on Tuesdays and we never had any issues with that in the past. Thank you for bringing it to our attention, we will follow up on this matter. We also invite all our guests to contact us should they have questions regarding their stay or need any kind of help as we always do our best to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

We understand that the check-out instructions, such as taking out the trash, turning off the lights, and starting the dishwasher may have been unclear to you, as they were all disclosed in the listing. These instructions are part of the house rules and are standard requests from hosts. The check-out time is also detailed in the listing and guests agree to it prior to booking a property. It is unfortunate that you found these instructions inconvenient after the fact.
