About the host
Hosted by Nelly Capra
Hello, my name is Nelly. I've lived in Genova, Italy until 20 years ago and then I moved to Los Altos, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. In Genova I owned one of the most traditional food specialty stores: Torte e Farinata Antica Sciamadda. In the US I have been teaching Italian cooking and culture for two decades and lead culinary tours in various Italian regions. My passion is to cook, preferably with others. So, if interested, I can teach guests a few things during their stay. Another passion is "home". I love to make guests feel at home and create a "home away from home" for them.
Why they chose this property
I purchased this property the minute I saw it the first time. I fell in love with it, Castellammare del Golfo and Sicily because of the beauty of the surroundings!
What makes this property unique
The location, the fact that it's a typical house, the views, convenience, closeness to some of the most important highlights of Sicily makes me want to share it with my guests.
