They needed to clean the porch/ deck of bird feces, feathers, slimy poop! You couldn’t walk out there, sit out there, stand, couldn’t breathe because of the smell. We looked for a condo with a deck for that purpose. The condo itself was not rented I. A long while because it was dusty.

The place was clean except for the deck. It took a bit of time due to all of the bird poop. Cushions were soaked and to be be dried due to the metal covering under the deck having been removed . Call the management to blow off all the sand which they did quickly after I called. Not as quiet as we had hoped. Neighbors upstairs were loud. Then our second week the condo was removing all of the metal coverings on owners decks, rather loud, power washing….. great access to the beach, nice view but if I were to come back I would get a room on the upper floor and ask if there was any maintenance scheduled. Not a 10/10 on VRBO. I would give it 7.5

Very nice property but there were a couple hiccups

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the property was perfect for our stay. The condo was very comfortable, nicely appointed, had a wonderful view and the beach was easy to access. Kitchen supplies were good but not great. There were, however, a few minor issues that detracted from the experience. Our son found that the supplied sheets did not seem completely clean and so attempted to wash them only to find the dryer was not working. Reported this issue to A1 property managements night service but did not get a call back the next day and they later claimed they never received the message. After several more calls they became very responsive but were never able to schedule a repair during our stay. Later in our stay pest control showed up without prior notice, unlocked the door and entered while my wife was in the bathroom. Not cool. Property management offered to change the lock but that never happened either. Very nice place but uneven management.

Very Relaxing

The condo was just great!! Weather was beautiful and we enjoyed being able to cook our own meals in the nicely remodeled kitchen. We were very surprised at how soundproof the condo was and couldn’t hear each other in the separate bedrooms. We will definitely be back next year and hope to continue this as an annual tradition at Carolina Beach.

A wonderful “Parents-moon”.

The condo was beautiful, so clean, and comfortable. We needed a vacation after our daughter’s wedding and this was so relaxing! We could walk to eat, the beach view was perfect and the elevator saved our backs! We will be back!

Amazing property

My two teen girls and I stayed for a few days and couldn’t have been more pleased! Amazing beach, awesome location near restaurants, and a very comfortable and cute condo. I’d highly recommend! Well stocked with everything we needed, nice appliances, beautiful balcony…I could go on and on. Don’t second guess staying here! Just book it!

Very nice condo with great view

The oceanfront view if really the stand out of this location, but there were many other great features like abundant parking and nice furnishings. Only critiques would be the seating could have been a bit more comfortable and I think the AC vents need a good cleaning as I had some allergy issues.

Location,location,location!

Excellent location so close to the beach with easy access. The balcony had a front row seat to the ocean it was a big balcony, always had some shade. We enjoyed drinking our coffee in the morning and our wine in the evening. Seafood on the island was good every where we ate. The Tiki Hut right down the beach had wonderful fish tacos and it’s right on the beach you can walk.
