Beautiful cabin on top of the hill with excellent views. It would have been nice if there was directions for the hot tub, sauna, and fire place available. There was left 1 towel per person which it would be nice to have a few extras.

Nice house, needs work and housekeeping, accessibility difficult
The house and views are beautiful. Our family really enjoyed our time together. We were disappointing, however, at the relative on cleanliness of the property. Moldy shower, rings, and toilets, dead bugs on windowsills, and in bathtub. Very poorly stocked (only one roll of toilet paper in the house, no dishwashing powder, no trashbags). Those things didn’t keep us from enjoying ourselves, but will keep us from renting this house again. Also, be prepared for a very steep, narrow, curving half mile gravel road to access the house. If we had had heavy rain, it would have been treacherous. The listing should have revealed that, in our opinion.

Thanks Pam for sharing. The listing does state *1-mile driveway is a gravel mountain road with a steep curve. 4 wheel drive is necessary during winter weather and might be helpful at other times of the year." It appears you must have missed that. We stock our homes with starter amounts of toilet paper, trash bags etc. Again what we stock is on the Terms and Conditions of the Rental, it appears you may have overlooked that. Regarding the clean issues you described. Each of these are contradictory with our standards and policies. We are really disappointed that this was a first impression for you. Rest assure your points were immediately shared with our Executive Housekeeper for immediate inspection and where warranted rectified promptly. Again thank you for sharing.
My biggest complaint is that the heater barely worked. There is one AC unit for the entire house (a huge house with 3 stories) and even with having a fire in the fire place, opening the oven door, plugging in the little heaters that were provided to us, and running the central heat the house never got warmer than 59 degrees. We stayed right after Christmas and the first few days in NC were in the low 40's, nights in the 20's. The kitchen has two ovens but one was broken upon arrival (the door had somehow come off). We made breakfast at the cabin every morning, we cooked dinner there 3 nights, the cabin had all of the basic items/utensils needed for cooking. I really loved the layout of the house, it was very unique and perfect for the 3 families we had with us. The master bedroom bathroom had bugs on the floor and had a musty smell. Overall, the cabin was beautiful, at the top of a gorgeous mountain with amazing views. We enjoyed our stay.

Thank you so much for sharing. We hope to see you again very soon!
Was a big house with plenty of entertaining room, the kitchen opens into the large dining and den area, surrounded by a deck and and sweeping Mountain views. Very nice pool table, darts, hot tub, and dry sauna. TV’s in every room, fire pit with great views and very good wifi. Very quiet and peaceful. Only downside is very steep and curvy driveway can be a little tricky in inclement weather, definitely listen to the 4wd/AWD advice if you’re going jn winter or colder months. Great little spot “Mast Farm Inn” less than 10 minutes with a quaint bar.
Banner Elk area is about 30 minutes as is Boone area if you’re wanting to go into town. I would advise stopping and getting whatever essentials you need there prior to hiking up the hill. Nevertheless, we will be back.
We loved everything about this gorgeous property- from the views on top of the hill, to the winding country roads to get to it. The house was immaculate and provided SO much to do and tons of space! We loved the kitchen, the pool table and darts. We loved waking up to a beautiful view and seeing the sunset at the top of the mountain. Conveniently located to all the fun things- Boone, Blowing Rock etc. Definitely would love to book again!
Seaforth was an amazing getaway! My wife and I enjoyed waking up to the sun peaking over the nearby mountain and relaxing around the fire. The hot tub and sauna were a much needed therapy away from the stressors of the world. We highly recommend staying at this property. Unfortunately we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool table due to absence of chalk, so any pool players need to bring your own chalk. There were ample wildlife to watch in the morning and evening time. Overall great stay highly recommended.
Beautiful house, great views, very comfortable. Last turn on the driveway is a little steep but our vehicles had no issues. It’s a big house, so the kids had a fun time exploring and picking out their rooms when we arrived.

GREAT property! Views are amazing. Hot tub, exercise room and sauna were perks the entire family enjoyed. We expected to eat out each night but didn't realize how isolated it was, which was great, but we should have packed food more appropriately since most food is at least 15 minutes away. Now we know for next time! The only complaint we had was that the clean dishes/cooking supplies in the cabinets weren't actually clean. We ended up hand washing every dish/pot/pan we wanted to use because of leftover food debris/oil found on most everything. It was clear that the dishwasher was the problem as it didn't do the job when we tried to use it. Otherwise, everything else was quite clean and the space was perfect for what we needed. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful and clean
We've stayed a lot of places and this was the cleanest place by far. We enjoyed the fireplace. Just a beautiful comfortable cabin.
Property was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the views from the top of the hill. The hot tub was a nice touch the kids enjoyed that very much, well stocked kitchen we never felt we were lacking anything. Would definitely go back again although the house was pretty big for just our small family of four.

House was extremely clean and spacious yet comfortable, uniquely decorated. The sauna was an extra special treat. The kitchen was well supplied and knives were sharp (something that can be hit or miss in rentals).
The views and the cabin are really Amazing. We're lucky enough to see deers around the cabin in the morning and the afternoon! Cabin is Tidy, comfortable for a big family. The Hot tub is a plus, we loved and enjoyed it at nights after a long day of hiking around! Our only suggestion would be getting new mattresses for the 2 rooms upstairs, they're a little hard.
Thank you!

The house was even bigger than we expected. Definitely a unique home with a great deck, where we spent most of our time. Had a great time.

Gorgeous, Very Secluded Cabin
The cabin is gorgeous and fairly well maintained. However, it is more secluded than we expected by looking at the map. We also found the last turn up the mountain onto the property harrowing. It was summer (so not snowy weather necessitating 4WD) and it was very stressful to get up there in a regular rear wheel drive car. We ended up driving 40 minutes into Boone to rent a Jeep the next day for the rest of the trip. Wish we would have known that in advance.
The cabin is spacious and clean. Few minor details need tending to - the second oven has no racks in it. So, it's unusable. The foosball table (which my kids were really excited about) is broken and held together with duct tape that isn't quite doing the job.
Because the cabin is so secluded, there is a lot of wildlife on the property. My kids really enjoyed seeing deer and rabbits.
Bottom line - great cabin; wish I had known how secluded it is and how steep it is to get up to the cabin.

Wonderful getaway!
This was a great space for a getaway with a larger group that included children. The views are gorgeous, and the deck is great for adults and children. There's a small lawn out front to play also! The cabin had lots of room to be inside if it was raining. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful. The upstairs bath is a great place to relax with a jetted tub and a spacious shower. The kitchen was well stocked in order to stay in and cook. We enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back again!

Seafoth Cabin
The first thing was there he kitchen screen door was torn. Could have been a animal but not sure. Cabin was overall clean and warm inside. The master bedroom toilet room has a funky room odor, kinda musty. Downstairs also has musty smell but very clean. Kitchen area all good.
Thanks
