Gotta Get Away

This place was perfect for a getaway from the daily pressures of owning a business. We spent 4 days just walking the beach in the morning and evening and sitting on the decks enjoying the sounds and sights of the Gulf.

Nice house, kitchen was well furnished, set up worked wellBeach was gorgeous! And quiet! Walked right out to the sand. Views from house were beautiful.Close enough to enjoy gulf shores, but justfar enough away that it felt more private

Peaceful Location

We enjoyed the contactless check-in and our stay was 5 days of relaxation. Perfect location for beach privacy and a short driving distance to restaurants and entertainment. Family of five adults and an infant had plenty of room. Steps to the beach, clean, comfortable beds, and again...perfect location. Would definitely stay again!

Great Thanksgiving 2023

Wonderful

I stayed with my husband and 3 children. We had such a good stay. The house is directly on the ocean. We walked back and forth daily. I could send my kids to the ocean and see them from the house. The house was walking distance to the lagoon and multiple shops and restaurants. The house was roomy for us. The kids slept in multiple spots throughout our stay because there were options. :) Very pleased!

Relaxing get away

The communication with Golf-Sands for checking in as well checking out was great. Their responses to any questions or concerns were timely. The place was clean and the listing was accurate. Location was within walking distance to restaurants and had direct access to the beach. Enjoyed the great views of sunrises and sunsets, as well as watching dolphins, pelicans and Herons. We had a wonderful time.

This property is great for a family. We loved the location. It’s close to town but far enough away from the condos so you get your own spot in the beach. We loved having a beach for our backyard for a week! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Wish we could go back now!

Perfect location

This beach house was the perfect location for our family Thanksgiving getaway. We could not have asked for a better location.... literally out the back door and on the beach! So thankful for the outdoor showers. Only complaint ( not really a complaint - probably just a user era) was we could not get some of the channels in HD as we were watching football games. All in all ... I highly recommend this house and we will return!

Fast get away

Absolutely loved it it was furnished nice and no problem with electronics it was spacious and not overcrowded with pieces that wasn’t necessary and you could tell it was well taken care and very clean that is a must for me hated leaving but the real world calls I think I would have liked a broom and dustpan hated not being able to sweep up all the sand instead of leaving it for you guys

The best location, directly on the beach. The only complaint is that you have to stop at the rental office to get a piece of paper with the door code. This could easily be emailed and save us the trip. It’s a minor inconvenience. Other than that it was perfect!

We had a great time. My daughters truly enjoyed the trip, and especially loved being able to walk out the door straight down to the beach. I wouldnt stay any place that wasnt right on the beach. The duplex was very nice. The kitchen utensils are my only complaint. They need to be updated. They are way over used and worn out.

Great location!

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores during our stay at Toto. The condo was perfect for our needs! Internet was great. Lots of excellent TVs already hooked up to streaming services and channels. Beds had great mattresses. The best part is you are directly on the beach! The location is perfect. You are minutes from all kinds of restaurants and stores. The beach wasn’t crowded, it is far enough away from the high rises and public access so it’s basically you and a few neighbors. The master bedroom is on the second floor and it shares a bathroom with the bedroom with twin beds. There is extremely low water pressure in the showers. We really needed a broom at a minimum in the condo to help with sand control. We would happily rent this one again!

Pictures of the Duplex are accurate. The living room furniture and mattress in master bedroom need replacing. The sofa bed is horrible and had popcorn in it. The oven had not been cleaned turned it on and it set off the smoke alarm. There were chips on the window sill. Overall the place was fairly clean. If you have mobility issues or younger children this is probably not the place to stay two sets of very steep stairs. Proximity to beach is great. Would have given four stars if not for the furniture and mattress issues that have been in the reviews for two years now and the fact that it needs more attention paid to cleaning.

Excellent location, comfortable home

PROS: Loved being able to walk down the stairs and have my feet in the sand! Wonderful beach, not too crowded, sand like sugar - and it squeaks as you walk in it :) Very comfortable home, great location near restaurants, markets - but not too near, and loved being away from the high rises. Appreciated having a Keurig, too. CONS: Beds are hard, so didn't sleep great. You are only allocated one roll of toilet paper per bathroom (2) during your stay, so if you want more, you have to go buy it (I assume this is because young spring breakers steal it?). The 2 bedrooms at the front of the house have to deal with some loud street noise (two nights had car alarms and police sirens/lights), but this could easily be solved by management with a fan or two for white noise. All in all, we were happy with our visit. Thank you.
