Pelican’s Nest. Beautiful Canal House

** Due to Covid-19, we are strictly adhering to the recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization to clean and disinfect the residence, after each rental. **

This house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a sleeper sofa in the living room. It easily sleeps 6 people. It has one large deck, which faces the canal and the Bay side. There are two grills downstairs (charcoal and gas). The downstairs has a outdoor shower and fish cleaning table and sink. The boat slip will fit as large as a 24 foot boat. The house has WiFi which the password will be provided upon your stay.

Beach blast

Great property and location very roomy and clean. It’s on the canal so we had fun fishing and swimming plus going to the beach. No issues with the house or area highly recommended.

Fabulous Property and Host

Host was very considerate ensuring our stay was not affected by hurricane that occurred a couple weeks prior to our trip. Property had quality amenities and great for fishing. Great for families.

Vacation rental

The property and location were great. Unfortunately, we had really bad weather 2 days into our stay and had to leave early due to rising water. The owner very graciously gave us a partial refund for the days missed.

This canal house was perfect for us! We loved the location on the canal and in the neighborhood and the proximity to the marina/restaurant. Daniel made it super easy to check in and out. The boat lift was so nice to have and fishing off the dock was fun. Inside the house we found everything we could possibly want or need. King-size bed was super comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. We look forward to coming back!

This was a PERFECT getaway for my husband and 2 young adult sons! Clean, well-appointed, great location to the beach and bay! Space for everyone! Host was more than accommodating! I’m a very picky traveler and I highly recommend this bay house!

Great Family Vacay

House was super cute and had everything it promised … the only downside to it, I wish there was a little more counter space in the bathroom, but it was still manageable … super clean, super well stocked and well decorated, had a very “homey” feeling to it … we definitely found our repeat home to rent.. the owner was very communicative and easy to get a hold of.. can’t wait to go back

Top notch!!

Everything about our stay at this house was excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the house was very clean. I’m a very picky person when it comes to where I stay, but I definitely plan on staying at this house again. The neighborhood is quiet and my boys enjoyed fishing from the dock. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook with and it is good quality stuff, not half broken pots and pans. And the biggest plus about this house is the air conditioner!!! The entire house stayed cool including the downstairs bedroom. I’m looking forward to my next stay!!!

9 DAYS IN PARADISE

THIS PROPERTY WAS THE PERFECT SPOT FOR US. THE BOYS 11-13 LOVED FISHING IN THE CANAL AND OFF THE FISHING PIER. THE KITCHEN WAS VERY WELL EQUIPT. EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN. WE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE POOL. WE ENJOYED THE ICE CREAM TRUCK (EVERY EVENING) I JUST WISHED WE HAD RENTED KAYAKS.

Great for fishing

The house was stocked well and the kids had a great time fishing. The owner is very quick to respond to all questions. I recommend renting a golf cart before you get there. We had trouble finding a place that wasn’t all booked up. Great house!

Sea Isle hidden gem

This is our second stay in Sea Isle and it’s truly a hidden gem. The house was well appointed for our family of 6. The boat dock was great with the lift. Close to the marina and restaurant. House is one block off the bay. We boated, fished and did all the things. Dave was a gracious host and answered our questions promptly. We will be back. Thank you!

Everything was as stated if not better. Greatly appreciated the opportunity to stay at this location and although the weather was a bit unpredictable we still managed to catch a lot of fish that included flounder, sheep’s head, Crocker and heard head. Will definitely be back!

Location was exactly where we wanted to be and community was nice.

Home is in good location in Sea Isle. Older home that could use some minor maintenance on deck and exterior but inside was up to date. Home has everything needed to cook meals at home. The one thing that was unexpected was the third bedroom and second bath are located downstairs behind garage - completely separate from main house. This could be an issue for some families. It worked out ok for us - but probably would not have rented had this been indicated in description of property. The owner was easy to work with, accommodating and quick to respond before our trip and upon our arrival. After that our messages went unanswered- but we had no emergencies or problems so don’t think this was a big problem.

Perfect New Year

We were meeting up with friends that live in Sea Isle. This property was absolutely perfect. Our son had fishing right at his fingertips, and there was plenty of room for the adults to gather and visit. The communication with the owner was very easy, and we look forward to renting from him again.
