The cabin was quiet and perfect for our family. The kids loved the barn and yard games. It was clean and most importantly the owner was so helpful and attentive. If we are ever in the area we will definitely stay here again.
Our group had a great time at the house and property. The river access point was great and we loved that there was raft rentals for our float just down the other gravel drive, less than 10 min from the house. Thanks for a great stay!!
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and love the extra space the shed offers and the access to the river. The home is great, clean and has all the amenities without needing to pack all of the kitchen and linens. If i had a question and needed to contact the home owner i recieved quick response.
Perfect place for our family to get together and enjoy the ranch, games that are provided on site, sit around a campfire with a guitar, and enjoy the river. Hosts were amazing to work with and provided us with more than enough information to help us maneuver the property. The age range was from 2 years old up to 87 and everyone enjoyed staying here.
Part of me wants to leave a bad review so this place doesn’t get too busy and I can use it every year because I love it that much! This is our favorite place to stay. It truly is the best and they think of everything. Super clean, close to the river, all kinds of amenities, and beautiful view
The home was everything we hoped for. Clean, spacious, and very well stocked. The barn area was amazing with all the activities provided. The property is very well kept and very private. We could not have picked a better place to get away for a couple days. Thank you to the owners for making it great.

So happy you guys had an amazing weekend! Hopefully see you again next year!
The place was wonderful and fully equipped for your needs. The location was beautiful and right near the rafting take off point. We all loved it! Very clean. You didn’t have to bring chairs and I loved the gaming barn with pool, ping pong, etc. will def stay next year!
We had a great weekend! 11 people, plenty of room, wonderful views, clean, and has everything you need. Book the barn too, it was worth it! Not too far of a drive to Bass River Resort for a day float or Steelville for anything you may forget. Loved the games and fire pit. We didn’t make it down to the property’s river access but we’ll try that next time.
This property was absolutely perfect for our girls’ trip! We played cornhole, grilled, and listened to music while laughing and reminiscing about old memories. We had the best time catching up! The barn was awesome—although we didn’t spend much time in there since it was so hot outside, I can imagine it would be such a fun hangout spot when the weather’s cooler. The river access is just a short drive on the property, and you can even schedule a float with Kick N K (the friendly neighbor). We did the 5-mile float, and it was both relaxing and so much fun!I can’t recommend this place enough—it was perfect in every way!

Misleading
When booking the property It says River access to the property. The actual property has more than 20 acres . so you have to drive to the river. It is not close to the house like the pictures portray. Lots of spiders and spider webs inside the house. The Vollyball area was weeds not sand, net was not straightened and all balls were flat. Hockey table was not in use. Pool table was dirty. We did play some ping pong. Lot of weeds around the barn area could haven been cleaned up. Bbq grill was barely useable. Grill Racks were broken. Broken chairs in the recreation barn. (Liability) had a barn full of tools and 4 wheeler with key. No sign of don’t use. They charged us for riding it. We had moved the Xbox to the house from the barn area. They couldn’t find it so they charged us for stealing. Do Not recommend staying here! You will be overcharged!

You are by far the dumbest people I have ever had to deal with. You went into a barn your instructed not go into taking a 4 wheeler out for joy rides until caught and told put back. You stain the carpet and leave the house a mess. My damage deposit goes up because of you.

Not what we expected
When we booked this house we booked it with the fact that there would be four families involved. Due to having four families we booked the barn apartment as well. According to the VRBO listing the barn apartment was supposed to have a double bed and a futon in it. (which would be acceptable for a family) Once we arrived we figured out that there were only two twin bunk beds in there (no double bed and no futon) twin bunk beds are definitely not ideal for a couple. The bunk beds sat directly on the ground with no gap in between the floor and the bed which made it easy access for bugs. The bunk beds also did not have a rail on the top which was a big no for us because my children toss and turn and I don't need them falling out of a bed that is five foot up in the air and landing on the concrete. Once we went to get into the beds (because we were just trying to make the best of the situation) We were upset to see that there was mouse poop under the pillow and under some of the sheets. I live out in the country so I totally understand that you will have mice and bugs, but I was under the impression that the bedding and linens would have all been washed the day were checking in (which is what should have happened) Again I get that out in the middle of no where you will have mice, but there is not way anyone thinks its acceptable to sleep in mouse poop. It would have been nice for the property manager to have made this right, but it didn't seem like it was thought to be a big deal.
This farmhous was perfect for our girls weekend get away. It was definitely secluded in the woods but gave us some quiet and relaxing down time. They truly thought of everything. Will all the games, movies and even added bonuses in the barn. The place also came with plenty of othet essentials if you were staying an extended period of time. The river access was nice. The only complaint would be the drive down there. So keep that in mind for drinking on the river lol We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place to others.
We really enjoyed our time as a family. The barn with the games was a big hit with the teenagers. JW gave us info for the rafting/kayaking outfitter and it was a beautiful place on the river to float along and enjoy ourselves. Very few others were in the same area. Easy access to the river and easy to find out take out point. The horseback riding was rated a success from those that went. We just didn't realize it was a bit of a drive to get to it but each rider prizes the horseshoe they were given. Four of us ventured to the local winery and Steelville Saturday afternoon. Absolutely AWESOME art gallery there with paintings done in the area recently for a competition. The CANOE "monument" in town is something to look for.We visited the ONONDAGA Cave after checking out. Having seen probably a couple of dozen caves around the US -- this one is most impressive. We stayed 3 nights and appreciate The Wright Brothers opening their doors to us!
The home and property exceeded my expectations. I had a large group and the home, barn and barn apartment provided us all space to hang out and enjoy our celebration with friends. The river access wasn't far from the property and we were able to get right in with our floaties and enjoy the water. The owners of the home communicated when I had a question prior to my stay and ensured me if there were any questions while at the home, they were always available. My husband and friends throughly enjoyed the 50th celebration at this location. We hope to plan another get together again next year here!
We had a nice time here. The convenience of having the float directly from the property was really nice . The Meremac was absolutely perfect for our float trip!
You're in the Missouri Ozarks. Sat under a covered porch while the sun was shining on rain clouds and those Ozark Hills. Not the Smokey Mountains... but gorgeous none the less
It is secluded, down gravel roads over cattle guards. Saw an Bald Eagle in their nest while floating down the river... how American is that? Had absolutely no issues. Had to contact the owner while there. Our group decided to add the barn room for our adventure. She responded in less than 10 minutes.
