About this property

Pier 39 on Lake Lanier. #1 Rated rental in Gainesville!

Private terrace level unit, right on the water. Spectacular views and easy access to the fun.

Two large bedrooms each with king sized beds and lush bedding. The Captains Room has a private bath with access from. The living room has a sun porch where the full kitchen and dining area are located.

The First Mates room has a large spacious bathroom with a over sized shower and double sinks. There’s a washer and dryer for your use.

The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator with ice maker and water. A dining area that seats 6 plus we have 2 extra folding chairs if needed. We provide plates, silverware, cooking utensils , pots/pans and baking dishes and a few spices. There is a full size coffee pot with filters. A microwave and toaster oven are also there for your use.

The Captain's Room also has a King size bed with private updated bath. It also has it's own exterior entrance/exit. It has a sitting room with a sectional couch, perfect to relax on, which overlooks the lake.. it has also been used as an extra bed with linens to fin. Coffee maker and dorm size fridge are also in the sunroom.

The outdoor area on the lake side of the home has a propane gas grill, picnic table, fire pit with chairs for relaxing and watching the boats go by. Depending on the water level, this has a sandy beach that allows you to walk in and out of the water.

Other amenities include (at no cost) Stand up paddle board, canoe and plenty of noodles and floats for the water. Life jackets in sizes infant to XX large. We also have fishing poles although we are not real fisherman so if you are we recommend bringing your own.

Our dock is a two slip dock that has a party deck up top with table, chairs that seat 6 and extra large umbrella for those that want some cover from the sun. For those wanting sun, lounge chairs are provided to catch some rays.

Feel free to bring your own boat and/or jet skis and tie up at our dock. We also have a boat ramp (Robinson Park) less than a mile from our home.

The dock has a covered seating area with two over-sized comfy chairs that lay back for a nap and a couch that overlooks the water. A fridge to store your cold items even though you are literally 20 feet from your unit. There is a Bluetooth speaker and a fan for those hotter days.

We live in the upstairs unit and you can have as much or as little interaction as you like. You are totally secured with a locked door to our area upstairs as well as your own entrance and exit. We are always available by text/phone call to assist or answer any questions.

We rented this for a family wedding 6 miles up the road. It was perfect for running in, eating, napping, changing, and dashing out again. Mike and Karyn were quick to respond to questions and very hospitable. We stayed 4 nights and it was just what we needed for the occasion.

Great lakefront location.

Myself, my mother and children loved our stay at Pier 39! The kids loved swimming off the dock and in the beach area. We rented a boat and having the lakeside location was perfect to restock up on supplies throughout our day on the water. The cove was calm and peaceful, neighbors and hosts were extremely friendly. I highly recommend this unit, see you again next year!

Great lake getaway home

Having access to the lake just outside your doors and views from almost every room was amazing! the hosts were very generous with their lily pad and even provided us with s'more stuff! Getting to see deer everyday and paddling to the beautiful "fun" island everyday across from the property was and diving off the top deck, was the best end of summer vaca for us and our kids. Thank you and we hope to be back to this amazing home! Very clean and had everything and more that we needed.

A peaceful oasis

This is a lovely place to stay. The terrace level is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. All the windows look out to the lake and boat docks which is just a short walking distance away from swimming, canoeing or kayaking. It was so peaceful and if you are lucky you will be blessed to see a few deer visitors walk through. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. Thank you Mike and Karyn

Pier39 hosts, Mike & Karyn, went above and beyond to make our family vacation wonderful! The home was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and spacious, and set on a magnificent and peaceful section of Lake Lanier which could be viewed from the family room/master bedroom. The kitchen was small, yet packed with all necessary amenities (stove, oven, full size refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc). Outdoors, there was plentiful and comfortable seating on the party dock, a canoe and kayak to enjoy along with a firepit and grill; what more could one ask for? If you are looking for a family getaway on the lake, consider Pier 39 a top choice!

RELAXING STAY

Mike and Karyn are great hosts. You have full privacy, but they are there if you need anything. Very clean. View is beautiful, walk out the door and you are at the lake. Deer feed right in front of you. Close to a lot of shopping and food. You can cook in or eat out. We did use the fire pit. We didnt take advantage of the lake, but we were just there and it was too cold, but I did have coffee each morning at the picnic table looking at the lake. Very relaxing and quiet. I'm sure summer would be a blast with this location. There is a full size washer and dryer for your use. You wont be disappointed, this place is spacious and your family can spread out and have privacy. We would definitely recommend to anyone staying in this area, it was close to everything we were doing. Thanks Mike and Karyn for sharing your home with us.

A great Lake getaway!

We had a great time at Mike and Karyn's Lake house. We found it prepared for our arrival, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and appreciated the use of their water toys. The house is in a great location on the lake near a boat launch. Also close to town making it easy to find stores and restaurants. We would stay here again!

We loved our stay here. The location is perfect: right on the lake with plenty of options for everyone, from relaxing on either level of the dock to kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing. There are views of the lake everywhere. The hosts pay attention to all of the little details that make the stay especially fun and comfortable. Karyn & I have lived on Lake Lanier since June 2011. It's just the two of us and our Morkie, Izabella. We moved here from Johns Creek, just down the road, near Alpharetta. I am originally from Kannapolis, N.C. and Karyn was born & raised in Sarasota. I am an Appalachian State grad and Karyn split her time between FSU and U. of Tenn. We both love calling Lake Lanier our home and we look forward to sharing it with you.
