With a beautiful flower garden of 3800 m², this beautiful house of 360 sqm with private pool, opens into a natural space offering these guests, even many, areas to live extremely pleasant and intimate.
The house has 9 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms including 3 en-suite, and a large kitchen area and a large living room and a billiard table.
The house also has wifi internet access
 
To enjoy the sun, a beautiful terrace of 300 sqm with swimming pool with a yard adjoins the house.

The days of hot weather, summer visitors can take refuge in the basement, completely refurbished in a friendly place that will delight movie buffs or fans of card and relaxation.

We can put at your disposal facilities for your horses: 4 box, sandpit, bar obstacle 500m training track, near private or 5 hectares divided meadows. Possibility of having a home teacher.

Brilliant social house with great pool and communal areas. All the bedrooms are great with comfy beds. Kid friendly and loads of space for social dining indoors or outdoors. Would recommend

Very nice home

Very good place to meet with the family. Our host was always available and helpful. The place was clean and loaded with everything you needed. Definitively a good place to go.

A lovely area to visit, we packed in a lot for the week stay that we had. The house is lovely and was great for 3 generations (17year olds to 77 year old) of family to gather together. Christel is easy to get hold of. The pool was a welcome addition for the hot week of weather we had. The rooms are quite hot even with the shutters across, if it’s going to be hot take a fan. Also the mosquitoes are very active particularly in the middle floor rooms at night, mosquito nets at the window would have helped.

A wonderful place to stay and a lovely host

A perfect villa for our family holiday. The pool is a good size and the area around the pool has plenty of shade all surrounded by a large and pretty garden. The inside space worked really well - good-sized bedrooms, some with en suites, a salon and a pool room (very popular with us!) and a well equipped and spacious kitchen. Christel, the owner, was lovely and so welcoming and friendly. She also cooked us a superb meal one evening using produce from her garden - highly recommended. As the weather was changeable while we were there, we visited several of the pretty villages in the area - Collonges-La-Rouge, Carennac, Rocamadour. We loved Martel - especially on market day - and the nearest village, Vayrac, is lovely too. The local vineyard, Pierro, sells gorgeous wines at really good prices.

France Holiday 2025

Christel was great and was very responsive to any queries we had, made contact prior to us arriving. We had a lovely time and property is in a great location for lots of things to do and visit. Some observations whilst we were there:As it was hot it would have been useful to have had fans in the rooms at night time.There were plenty of large cookware, but limited number of smaller options so we found ourselves using very large sized saucepans etc when much smaller ones would have been great also.We did get bitten a lot at night, some fly screens on the middle floor windows would have been useful too.There were also a couple of broken loungers when we arrived which were highlighted to us by Christel which limited the amount of chairs available for the group to use.On the whole though we had a lovely relaxing holiday and Christel was very friendly, responsive and always checked if she could come round to clean or top up the pool. Thanks Christel :-)

Die Außenansicht der schönen alten Villa und der Garten sind fantstisch. Die Innenausstattung und Sauberkeit lassen insgesamt einige Wünsche offen. Das betrifft insbesondere die sanitären Einrichtungen, Bäder und WCs, die keinen höheren Ansprüchen genügen. Insgesamt aber handelt es sich um einen romantischen Ort in toller Landschaft und Umgebung.

J ai longtemps hésité entre 4 ou 5 étoiles .. la maison est très spacieuse ! Grand espace piscine mais aussi très grands espaces intérieurs si la météo n est pas bonne.. grand parc avec terode boule et possibilité de jouer au ballon .. beaucoup de douches et de toilettes, bref idéal pour un grand groupe !! Je ai Pas mis 5 étoiles pour 2 raisons : les odeurs fréquentes liées à la fosse septique . Et l insonorisation moyenne . En ce qui nous concerne la temps a été mitigé, mais pour les jours beaux .. il fait chaud dans les chambres Toutefois nous reviendrons volontiers ! Tant les grands espaces prime t sur ces petits inconfort !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la villa Hugo , maison très belle dans un environnement dans la verdure. Maison très bien située pour les visites environnantes. Et le top du top, l’accueil de de la propriétaire qui a été plus qu’agréable et sympathique.

Fantastische locatie

We hebben een zalig warme week mogen meemaken. Het huis is prachtig maar vooral het zwembad was de grote ster van de site, goed voor urenlang waterplezier voor groot en klein. Wat uitrusting keuken betreft, meer dan voldoende, hier en daar aan vernieuwing toe, maar dat is een detail. Aandachtspunt is de verschillende communicatie van de eigenares en van vrbo. Reservatie was van zaterdag tot zaterdag, meermaals bevestigd door vrbo, tot op paar dagen voor aanvang, de eigenares verhuurd van zondag tot zondag, communiceert dat ook, desondanks zijn wij dag te vroeg aangekomen, (contract dubbel controleren is de boodschap) probleem maar fantastisch opgevangen door de gastvrouw! Kortom, locatie en site, en de gastvrijheid verdienen een dikke 10/10
