This home has a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean from the spacious screen porch that overlooks the Narragansett Seawall. It is located just 150 feet from the Narragansett Seawall, a great place for a walk or run. Just a short walk to the Narragansett Town Beach (the best beach in town), the house is located on a dead-end street of well-maintained homes in Narragansett Pier.

The property contains two buildings..the main house and the guest house both of which are air-conditioned. The main house has central air, 3 bedrooms with TV/Cable in all bedrooms, a full bath, spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and shaker style cabinets, washer/dryer and hot/cold outdoor shower.

The guest house has a family room, one bedroom (sleeps 4), a half bath, cable and window air conditioning units! All bedrooms have high-quality mattresses. The house is very clean, well maintained, and it is painted & decorated in bright cheery beach decor.

The front porch is a delightful place that you’ll find you enjoy any time of the day, whether it is during your morning coffee, an afternoon siesta or for a delicious evening meal. Because the porch is fully screened it is mosquito free for your evening enjoyment!

The updated kitchen has custom shaker cabinets and granite counters. As you can see in the photos it is bright and cheery with more than ample storage. If you enjoy eating in vs. restaurant dining, it is fully equipped for your every culinary need.

The house is owner-managed and maintained. We have a proven record of satisfied customers in this business since 2004...No impersonal rental agencies involved!! Prior to the start of the summer season, it is cleaned from top to bottom and repaired as needed. We make it our mission to invest in our property to provide a top-quality rental experience.

Additional Information: Although we have selected the VRBO option of no refunds, we will happily refund payments made to us by VRBO toward rent and cleaning fees, if we can successfully re-rent the property at the original rate. If we need to re-rent the property for a discounted rate, we would adjust the refund by the amount of the discount on the rent. Please see details of our lease posted with VRBO.

The property is convenient to all the attractions that Narragansett has to offer - 3 state beaches+town beach. Our home is located within walking distance to many local restaurants, the town beach and Narragansett Pier (for those of you who like to fish). It is just minutes by car to shopping, a number of state beaches, restaurants, Point Judith, fishing charters, Block Island Ferry, Adventureland Family Fun Park, summer carnivals, Narragansett Art Festival, fireworks, bike path, etc, etc, etc. 30 mins to Newport, Jazz Festival, Folk Festival, Foxwoods, and Providence.

A wide variety of restaurants are available around town from those great summer clam shacks to upscale fine dining. There is also more to Narragansett than the wonderful beaches. Air Show, Jazz & Folk Festivals, Art Festivals in Wickford & Narragansett, Harbor and Bay cruises, Fishing - Surf, Charter Boats, Head / Party Boats, Ferry Service to Block Island, Martha's Vineyard and Providence nearby, Bike Path, Summer Concert Series, Philarmonic Orchestra, Providence Water Fires, golf and many many more activities

Lovely, well maintained beach house just half a block from the sea wall. We enjoyed having meals at the table on the front screened-in porch. Separate cottage in the back was great for the in-laws. House is air-conditioned which was welcome when it was hot and humid. Suzanne lives next door and is a great host, helpful but not intrusive.

Great property, great location

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Narragansett. We walked to the beach, to Monahan’s and to the Boon St. shops and restaurants. The property is comfy and clean, and has a well-equipped kitchen—not always our experience at other rentals. Enjoyed the view and the birds singing every morning as we sipped coffee on the porch. Suzanne was helpful and communicative when we needed her. I recommend!

Can't beat the location!

This location was perfect for our family. It's a great house for teens (and us grownups) to walk to the beach and to nearby restaurants. We also enjoyed evenings on the screened in porch. Our one call out is that we did not see in the listing that sheets and towels were not provided in the rental. Thank goodness we had time to dash out and buy sheets and towels for our first night... With that being said it was an unexpected expense that we hope others avoid after reading this review.

Yearly beach house vacation

Our family spends a week in Narragansett every summer and we have stayed at several houses in the area. This house was by far the closest to the ocean and was very cute. There was some construction on the street during our stay that obstructed the view and sound of the waves a bit, but looked close to completion. There were more than enough beds for us and the space was well appointed. I especially enjoyed the kitchen, as there was plenty of counterspace to prepare meals and snacks after a day at the beach. The front porch was nice, but could use more cozy seating for reading out there in the evenings. Suzanne was very helpful during our stay and was available whenever needed. All in all we had a great week in this beach house.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay. The location is just perfect. We enjoyed morning walks along the sea wall and into town for coffee. The local beach is walking distance, but there are several beaches a short drive away as well. The local beach charges a per person entry fee, but the surrounding beaches only charge $12 a car for a daily pass. We had 9 in our party so that made more sense. The ferry to block island is 10 minutes away and the island is just beautiful. The house was perfect! We had a great time.

Hidden Gem in Narragansett

As summer vacationers to the Narragansett area for over 20 years, we were lucky to stumble upon this rental over two years ago. This property offers it all! Great for families with kids as their is a lawn and it is located on a cul de sac. Great for older couples who want to be close to the water and sea wall yet away from the bustle of the Town Beach. The house is set up very cozy and comfortable. It is definitely a true beach house vacation. Friends and relatives of ours have asked us what dates we go each year to pencil in time to visit. Suzanne is wonderful-a great owner and the house is always ready in tip top shape. Don't miss an opportunity to discover this jewel that we were so lucky to find years ago.

The house is very clean and has everything you need. Kitchen is more than fully stocked with great appliances. Lots of seating in the screen porch, comes with a couple of beach chairs as well. Owner provided great customer service, was easy to contact throughout the week and helped out when needed. House looks very new, with lots of recent upgrades. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Home Away From Home

Being Narragansett Summer tourists for 19 years and having to find a new rental after 17 years-this place offers it all. Let's face it-you never know what you are actually walking into it. The internet can do amazing things and make some houses look totally different than when you arrive. Not true about this house-the pictures accurately portrayed what you were getting. From the moment we entered the house-the feeling of home and welcome and warmth surrounds you. The home, cottage and property was clean and well-maintained. The owner was extremely receptive to our suggestions and comments. We had family and friends visit who definitely agreed it was a great beach getaway. It was cozy and friendly and we had lots of laughs and great times on the front porch after a day at the beach or even a day trip to Newport and other attractions. We will definitely return to this rental next year and hopefully for many more years to come.

Great spot for a family or friends vacation. All newly rennovated and sparkling clean with really comfortable beds & furniture. Unlike most rentals, lots of places for privacy - reading a book on the porch or in yard. Guest house in rear was perfect for kids! The "boys" stayed out back in their own man cave and the girls stayed in the main house. Nice place for a large family gathering or groups of friends. One block walk to sea wall and about 10 minute walk to Narragansett beach - beach passes and parking pass a big plus! Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Owners are very friendly and available at any time. We loved it so much that we've already booked for summer 2013.

Great house and so much space! Location was a short jaunt to one of our favorite restaurants. Because of the additional space in the cottage, We had my parents down and enjoyed the restaurants after dark as well! The owners were very responsive to our questions and available during our stay. Great house and guest cottage in a great location

This is a great place to rent in a very convenient location. The house (along with a small guest cottage in the back) is a few houses from the the walk along the water in Narragansett and .5 miles from the town beach (which is an excellent beach). Great place to walk, cycle and kayak. The owner's are next door and very accomodating. Excellent screen porch in front. Note that there's no A/C but ceiling fans in all the rooms.

Why they chose this property

We bought this home because we have lived in the Pier during the summer for years. We believe it is that the Pier is THE PLACE TO BE in Narragansett, or for that matter in RI, in the summer. It offers so many restaurants and events within walking distance. Best of all, it offers pristine Narragansett Beach, with its fine sand, and spectacular waves. And of course, we can't talk about Narraganset Pier without mentioning the benefits of living near the famous Seawall. It is such a pleasant place for a leisurely stroll or a run, and you can't beat the scenery!

What makes this property unique

This house has such character and charm. It is a classic Narragansett bungalow with a large, screen porch that is a lovely place for a cat nap on a summer afternoon or to watch the show from the heavens during an evening thunderstorm.

The property is unique with its detached guest house which was used as a maid's quarters back in the 1930's. Today, it houses a living room with cable TV, half bath and a bedroom. It is a safe and private place where older kids and teens will love to stay. It's also a great place for adults looking for some rest and relaxation, away from the main house.
