The living area flows onto our expansive deck with space for grilling, dining, and relaxing. Best of all is our private dock on the lake, which is great for swimming, fishing, and boating. We have the best sunsets and expansive views of nearby Schoodic Mountain and the tippy top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia.

I grew up in Bar Harbor, Maine and now live in New York City and Sullivan, Maine. I love hiking, biking, sailing and birding. Zephyrus Cottage is the perfect base to explore Acadia National Park or just stay home and play on the pond.
Why they chose this property
My parents bought this property in the early 1960s and built a small 'camp' on the property. In 2014 we finally built our dream vacation home here. Its a special spot with great waterfront views and easy access to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, wild Maine wilderness, and Downeast Maine coastal charm.
