Relaxing Mountain Escape with all of the Comforts of Home

You and your family will enjoy every minute of your stay in our comfortable mountain home. Less than half a mile from the Beech Mountain Ski Resort, you will be close to recreation and entertainment. There are also short hikes, mountain bike trails, small creeks, waterfalls, and lakes for your exploration.

Highlights of the home include an updated kitchen with granite counter tops, a gas range, a dishwasher, and plenty of room in the refrigerator. There is an attached garage with another refrigerator, and above the garage is the third bedroom with its own full bath - offering privacy and convenience. A full-size washer and dryer are available for use in the laundry room.

Porches extend off of two sides of the house with plenty of seating and a gas grill. Your family will love watching and interacting with wildlife while relaxing in the outdoor living space.

If you get cool, there are two gas fireplaces inside surrounded by comfortable seating. A large-screen television sits over one of the fireplaces, while the other offers a nice area for a nap or enjoying a good book.

At the end of the day, there is a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and a bunk bed in the second bedroom of the main house - a full-sized bed on the bottom bunk and a twin on the top. The third bedroom over the garage has a full-sized bed.

We strongly recommend traveling in a reliable vehicle with 4-wheel drive in the winter.

Cabin was super cozy, clean and well appointed. Ally was very kind and responsive and went out of her way to help us when we faced several winter storm related challenges. We highly recommend!! It’s worth noting that the ski resort is certainly walkable and we were grateful not to have to drive there during the storm.

The host was very welcoming and accessible. Could not have been at a more perfect location for my weekend. Unfortunately, weather prohibited snowboarding due to the resort closing, but the cabin was absolutely perfect for lounging AND the garage made this particular location an absolute lifesaver for the conditions. The goal for the weekend was to give my mom a brief getaway after the passing of my grandmother. This place was magical in the snow (winter storm). The host insured that we had appropriate gear for the anticipated driving conditions. The driveway is a bit steep, but snow chains made it very manageable in an all-wheel-drive SUV.

This wonderful cabin helped make our Christmas getaway extra special. The location was perfect, it had all of the amenities we could ever need, and the host was lovely. The cabin was super clean and smelled nice, the beds were comfortable, and having a fireplace in the cold weather was just awesome. The garage was great for storing our second vehicle. We spent a lot of time out on the decks taking in the beautiful scenery and watching for deer. The listing pictures really do not do the cabin justice. It was spacious and updated. The close proximity to the ski slopes was awesome. We loved our vacation to the magical little town of Beech Mountain and we plan to return!

Last minute stay

After our original reservation at another property was cancelled last minute due to construction, I booked this home and the host responded quickly. Four of us stayed comfortably, with plenty of space. The house was well-equipped, including a tankless water heater, and sitting on the porch watching deer was relaxing. I'll consider staying here again when we return to Beech Mtn.

We had a great stay (it was a little further from App State than we wanted but perfect for our family and dog). The house is very clean....you would never know pets were allowed! The owner was quick to respond to my email about something and very accomodating.

House is new and good quality . Much larger than shown in photos. Located easy access to Beech Mountain amenities. Only downside is that there are other houses close, but most of them were vacant when we were there. Would recommend and will likely return

Nice short stay on Beech Mountain

Clean and comfortable house in a convenient location on Beech Mountain. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, and the attached garage felt like a rare luxury. We had a bit of excitement when we arrived and found the house alarm had been left on. That was resolved in a few minutes, then the police came. They were helpful and friendly, but not what we wanted to deal with after a long drive. All was well after that, and we enjoyed our stay. The owner/manager even let us back in after we had checked out to retrieve an item we had forgotten.

Great house, pictures do not do it justice! Very Clean and spacious. Bonus room over the garage was perfect for our teen! Loved watching the deer every day from the back porch. When they say you need 4-wheel drive, they aren't joking! Driveway is steep and slick after snow. Water pressure in showers could be better. Propane tank on grill was out of gas but we were able to cook anything we needed in the kitchen. Would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Thank you for having us! We were excited to visit Beech Mountain to ski/snowboard and explore downtown. The property was just minutes away, which made it so easy! We lucked out and the area received heavy snowfall the night before, which was great for snowboarding, but made it difficult to get up the driveway, so as the listing states, four wheel drive is necessary if visiting during a snowstorm! The house was perfect for the seven of us (four adults, three kids) and the two dogs. After a fun day on the slopes, we could come back and relax or recoup and hit the town. There was plenty of room so some could watch tv in the living room by the fireplace and others could sit and chat/read by the second fireplace. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for the nights we cooked. And it was well supplied with linens and towels. Oh, I forgot to add that we enjoyed watching the deer roaming through the yard and neighborhood. It was such a peaceful sight to watch them prancing through the snow!

Beautiful and so so close to Beech Mtn

I brought two teenage boys so the room above the garage was fabulous!!!! They loved their privacy and the fridge in the garage so they didn’t have to trek inside for drinks. Two fireplaces downstairs and fabulous bedrooms up. Everything was so nice and clean and we loved it. I didn’t ski so had to act as chauffeur to the boys but how amazing was it that it was not 3 minutes total to the drop off at Beech. We were able to come and go all day in mere minutes. Love love loved that! Would definitely stay again. Only fix at the cabin at all were the blinds in the kitchen were missing sections so you could not fully get privacy on that window. But that is a simple fix and due to the private location of the cabin, it really wasn’t a big deal. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cabin!
