Modern, bright and airy beachfront penthouse with custom contemporary decor in a gated complex. Located on serene Punta Popy Beach, in the heart of Las Terrenas, within walking distance of numerous restaurants, night life, shops and mini-markets. Condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, each located on a separate floor. Lower Balcony has open-air dining table w/6 chairs, upper terrace has sun-loungers, casual seating, wet bar. Fully equipped, modern kitchen w/gas stove & oven. Washer, dryer, clothes rack and detergent supplied on 3rd floor terrace. Microwave, coffee-maker, teapot, toaster and blender supplied. Drinking water supplied in 5 gallon jugs. Master bedroom has king size bed, walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom and wall-safe. 2nd bedroom has king-size bed and black-out shade, dresser and luggage stand. Loft over master bedroom has 2 twin beds. All rooms have ceiling fans, the 2 bedrooms have remote controlled AC units.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Please contact the housekeeper Yamil +1 829-496-3797 an hour before you leave. She will either meet you and retrieve the keys or instruct you to leave them in the apartment.
If you can't reach the housekeeper, please leaves the keys on the living room shelf by the sliding glass patio door.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Must follow community rules, including no swimming in pool or excessive noise after 10pm. Watch your kids carefully since there are steep stairs.
Please turn off AC units when not inside the bedrooms. Also please turn off coffee maker after use. It does not shut off automatically.
NO SMOKING inside the apartment. If you must smoke please do so on the terrace outside. Thanks.

Qaiser and Yamil were excellent hosts. Very helpful and responsive. The unit was as described and the property grounds were well maintained. The location is excellent - Punta Popi is just across the road and there are many excellent restaurants in the area. The unit was comfortable for our family of 5.

We enjoyed our stay in Las Terrenas very much. We loved the beach and the point (la punta?). The access to shops and restaurants made things easy. Wish we could come back.

I love travel and adventure, and have traveled to over 50 countries. Las Terrenas, Samana is one of my favorite places... hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Why they chose this property

Staying in my condo will put you steps away from one of the most beautiful, natural palm-lined beaches in the Caribbean. You can swim, snorkel, or just walk for hours ... relax and unwind. A few minutes walk will take you to a multitude of restaurants with cuisines varying from wood-oven pizza, authentic Italian and French to local hearty Dominican food and some of the freshest seafood you will ever find. All at some of the lowest prices of any tourist destination. Once you get enough of the beach, you can drive or take local transport to nearby El Limon waterfalls where you can choose to hike, or ride a horse (around $20/person with a guide) to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in a natural setting that you will ever sea. In the springtime, take a boat ride to Samana Bay to watch Humpback Whales swimming and breaching with their babies. Or take a boat ride to Cayo Levantado for snorkeling and a picnic lunch. There many unexplored beaches and mountains in this area if you are more adventurous.

You will love the ocean views from the balcony and 3rd floor terrace, where you can relax and sip your Cuba Libre or OJ.
Close proximity to restaurants, shops and the beach will make you not want to leave....
At night, if you choose, you can open the bedroom windows, and fall asleep to sounds of the ocean and a gentle breeze.
