We welcome conscientious, non-smoking guests to this lovely and exceptional home on 200 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline.
Lake House on Glidden minimum stays are as follows:

7-nite minimum; Saturday to Saturday mid June to mid August

4-nite minimum in winter, spring and fall

Perfect for 4 couples or 1-2 families, Lake House comfortably accommodates a FIRM maximum of 12 guests per municipal ordinance.

• Four very spacious, (king beds) bedrooms including two master suites on the main floor with fireplaces and private baths. Additional powder room on main floor
and shared full bath upstairs.
• Larger of the two master suites on the main floor has beautiful lake view 4 seasons room with game table and comfortable seating.
• Woodburning fireplace in great room open to dining areas and recently remodeled kitchen.
• 60” flat screen Smart TV, cable and business class WiFi, JBL wireless speaker
• Beautiful outdoor lake side patio with outdoor dining
• 8-minute walk south to access a fantastic sandy swimming beach

The generously sized, recently remodeled kitchen has a commercial range/oven, microwave and pantry for storage. Accommodations for meals include a dining area, a kitchen i
island with seating and a lunch bar.

Large lakefront patio has space for dining and lounging, experiencing remarkable sunrises, a fire pit for evenings, and ever-changing views of the lake. At the south end of the
property Lake House has a beautiful, elevated observation/sun deck to enjoy.

The larger of the two master bedrooms on the main floor is referred to as the “Lodge Suite” that has its own completely private living area, including a wet bar, and its own lake view 4-seasons room with a game table.

Bed linens and bath towels are included as well as many other amenities.

Our rental agreement must be accepted by an adult over the age of 30.

Lake House is located in a residential area where quiet hours and other guidelines are in place enforced by local ordinance. This property is best for couples or family groups and we are unable to accommodate any special events onsite. Boats, trailers and RVs are not permitted on property and parking is limited.

Our Best Family Trip Ever

I have to say this place was the best place we as a family stayed. We usually do a lot of different activities outdoors but truly enjoy just hanging out at our place. The set up was perfect. Anniversary Trip

We have been to Door Co many times and found that this property that is on Lake Michigan had absolutely beautiful views of Lake Michigan. The property was very clean and setup for our needs over a one week stay including plenty of wood to burn outside via a Solo Stove. The location also provided us quiet roads to ride our bikes and quiet walks.

We had a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked and excellent for home cooking. House is very comfortable. Access to the concrete pad needs to be maintained as grass is very high. Would recommend this property as property manager was excellent and response to issue with TV was very prompt.

Great place for a Door County getaway!

Four couples stayed here over a long weekend. It's perfect for such a trip. Each bedroom has a king bed, so you don't need to worry about which couple gets what room. The patio on the lake is magnificent. We spent each evening with a fire and each morning looking at the sunrise. We will be back!

Lots of space for everyone

The decor is a little odd, but the space is very comfortable. Great kitchen for cooking with a crowd. Big dining room table. Incredible view and the sound of waves makes it very relaxing. The beach is about a ten minute walk (if you have kids in tow) and is small but not busy. 4 king beds are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The Best House to Enjoy Door County

I wasn't sure that the property could live up to the pictures. It did and so much more. For a family, there are lots of gathering places, inside and out. All of the rooms are updated and huge. More amenities than we've ever had in a VRBO. So many things that we bring in a tub, were already provided. Kris was excellent in communicating! The views are head-shaking! 10/10!

Arrangement was not quite what was pictured in the photographs. Plenty of room for everyone ,large enough refrigerator for all meals to be home cooked. Lots of extras. Had a large enough water heater we could run the dishwasher, washing machine and take showers all at the same time.

Quiet side of Door County

This is a beautiful home on the water with serene views and sounds of only the waves and the birds. This absolutely the best VRBO we have stayed in as far as responsiveness by the manager and also the supplies that were provided for the laundry, the kitchen, and the patio.The teens managed to get to the cove near the home for a swim, but they preferred the public access and sandy beach about a 10 minute drive to South Cave Point and Bark Roads.We appreciated the 2 refrigerators, and the Keurig, regular coffee pot, the laundry detergent, the spices, the bathroom soap, shampoo and conditioner, the dishwasher soap, the garbage bags, and the ample parking.The upstairs was quite warm due to the u seasonably hot weather that we had during our stay. The AC just couldn’t keep up with the hot weather. Within a few hours, the manager got us 2 tower fans, which helped quite a bit.The fire pit was great and wood was provided.There was a propane and a gas grill.

We enjoyed family time in this clean, spacious home with lovely lake views in a quiet setting. If you’re looking to relax on your getaway, this is a nice home to do just that. We took a couple bike rides in this very residential area of Door County. Even though this home sits right on Lake Michigan, the lake is not very accessible here due to rough waters on the rocky coast. We were hoping to use the “swimming hole” often, but it’s an At Your Own Risk situation, not for small children. Looks like this niche was created and used to harbor boats. Visiting nearby towns for activities and dining definitely requires a car.

A beautiful property

The house is beautiful. Beautiful kitchen to cook in, lots of storage for food and good assortment of spices. No ice maker! The beds were comfortable. Not enough washcloths for all of us. The gas grill was FILTHY, but after cleaning was fine. The directions for garbage pickup are ambiguous/contradictory/wrong? but we managed, I guess. (Left everything in the garage) There are some steps to living room and bedroom and patio areas without railings. The house was clean and comfortable and th view of the water was unbelievable! Would definitely return - one of the BEST things (and reason we rented in the first place) was the four KING beds. With 4 couples (us and our 3 daughters /husbands) it is very hard to find that. Queen beds don't work! Would definitely return here if we get the chance. Jane
