Country Charm C – One of Four Pet Friendly Group Cabins in Helen

Close to town, but away from the noise sits Country Charm C, one of the four Country Charm cabins.

This cozy wood cabin has a king bed in the downstairs bedroom and two twin beds in the open loft. The downstairs bathroom features a double sink vanity and a walk-in shower. After a fun filled day of activities in and around town, you can sit and relax on the large front porch while watching the sun go down. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs and WiFi.

The road from the cabin leads right into town to all the shops and restaurants. Come experience Helen while staying in this cozy country cabin.

The indoor jetted tub is currently not working at Country Charm C.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is paved for 1/4 of a mile from Main Street and then turns to dirt and gravel.

Very dusty, gritty dust was everywhere and on everything, however, they were accommodating and came and vacuumed and cleaned for us the next day when they called to check on our stay. Which after cleaning made us all feel better and made our stay more pleasant. The pics are dust after they cleaned. Pets enjoyed their stay.

Great place to visit and the cabin is near town walking distant. They are Pet friendly which is awesome for those who love to travel with rheir pets. The Cabin is clean and comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

I like the large porch, having a swing and rocking chairs, gives a nice country feeling. Nice open plan inside with a loft. Very clean, didn't see not even one bug. Love the little kitchen. The bathroom toilet seat needs updating though. Overall we were very satisfied and enjoyed our stay.

Everything we needed

This quaint cabin made the perfect spot for our yearly New Years trip! It had everything we needed and was only 5 minutes away from downtown. Note that the cabin is next to 3 other cabins so if you want to be secluded this is not the cabin for you. However, we had very quiet neighbors and rarely ran into each other. The whole area is very beautiful and peaceful. We recommend this cabin who needs a little getaway from the usual routine and also has little kids. It fits 4 people comfortably and has the basic needs to cook and hang out. Only thing we wished we had working was the hot tub and access to the fire place which would have made the cabin life that week perfect .

Excellent location!

This cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location, within walking distance to downtown Helen, was extremely convenient. (Note: We preferred driving into town at night, due to the dark roads though. ) I stayed here with my 12 year-old daughter, an adult friend, and my toy poodle. There are three other cottages in the compound, and there is not much privacy when hanging out on the lovely porch if others are about. However, there was never an issue with noise. We seemed to constantly run low on silverware, despite eating some meals out. The shower stall is very narrow, but more importantly in my book, there was plenty of hot water! Beds were comfortable too.

Bare bones basic

The cabin is clean. But it is a bare bones basic cabin, with no extras whatsoever. Only one pillow per “person” per bed-(2) for a king size bed and (1) per twin bed. And 2 towels were given for a family of 4 for a 3 night stay. No extra linens or blankets anywhere. No washer/dryer. The tub does not work. The location is very centrally located to downtown Helen, only a 2 minute drive. Overall-3/5 stars. Would have been 5/5 is it wasn’t so bare.

Cute cabin at the edge of town

My husband & I stayed here with our 2 dogs & it was very convenient to town & quite. There are 3 other cabins on the property & ample parking. We walked to town one evening & it is a 15-20 minute walk to the other side of town which we didn't mind. The only complaint (if you will) or warning is you will get an email to do an auto checkout. Once you do, your door code will no longer be active. I wanted to get some waters we left in the frig & did not know once you go through this, you cannot get back in. Thankfully nothing important left behind, but just a heads up.

Great spot

Over 5/5 stay. Was just for a weekend and would likely stay again! Only negative was tv in living area is extremely small for the space. If you got stuck in cause westher or jjust wanting to rrlax.. dont plan on seeing the tv from the couch. Also the shower was not great, limited hot water (maybe 15 min worth) and had a spout in center that you will bump into multiple times lol. All that said, will bery likely dtay herr again. Great location, great price.

Getaway Trip

We booked this for convenience and to have mountain vibes. Great location. Easy to get to and from town. I would stay again and recommend. 4 different cabins in same area with shared parking.

We had a wonderful time, however, there were definitely pros and cons. Pros: Location was excellent. Cabin was a two minute drive into town. Beds were comfortable and it was spacious enough for a family of four. There was a grill with propane and plenty of pots and pans. Cabin was cute with a homey feel. Cons: The TV in the main bedroom has no remote, cable, antenna or ability to stream, rendering it useless. The fireplace is electric, not wood burning, and it had an unsightly cord to plug in. We had to unplug it each time to turn off. The hot tub is broken and appears it’s been broken for quite some time. The cleanliness of the property was not great. There were cobwebs in the wall decor above bed and in shower stall. The table was really, really dirty with a sticky substance caked on it. There was no tub for kids and no anti-slip shower mat or bath mats. There was not enough silverware for family of 4 (3 spoons) and no pantry or cabinet space for food storage. There was no closet to store clothes or bags, just an open rack with one hanger in the main bedroom. We enjoyed our stay but a few minor tweaks would make it much more enjoyable.
