This 4 bedroom plus loft, 2 full bathroom cottage is only a few feet from the beautiful and sandy Long Beach in Rockport, MA. This cottage is one of the nicest cottages available to rent on Long Beach. You have ocean views and can hear the waves from almost every room so you are that close to the beach!
You can enjoy one of the best beaches in New England without the hassle of driving, lugging beach chairs, and coolers from hot parking lots. Memories will be made throughout your stay that will last a lifetime.

When you are not basking in the sun, you can walk miles across 4 local beaches, right from your door step; take a bike ride through beautiful neighborhoods; or visit famous and scenic Gloucester seaport and Rockport's Bear Skin Neck. On rainy days you can visit historic landmarks, local movie theaters or go to one of 3 malls within 10 miles. Autumn is especially nice, as there are many local farms and scenic drives.

The house has plenty of parking (4 spots).

The house was fantastic. Just as described and had everything we needed. The hosts were great. they were so helpful when we had a booking snag at our end and then again when we had some questions just before coming. They even reached out when we accidentally left something behind. Overall, just a really great interaction and a wonderful property and week at the beach!

House was immaculate and view is outstanding. Truly "steps from ocean"; the "sweet spot" of Long Beach - so quick to get to the seawall and down the stairs to the sand. Yes, you CAN hear the waves. Parking was ample and very convenient. Communication with owner was perfect - so responsive, anything we needed had an answer instantly and so easy to work with. Great layout, spacious for extended family to hang out and enjoy. Kids LOVED the loft. Everything felt clean and bright - we've stayed in about a half dozen properties along Long Beach, this is the best yet. Plenty of resources available (linens, towels, well-appointed kitchen) to make your stay enjoyable. The neighborhood was quiet, but still plenty to do (tennis, long walks) - very relaxing stay. Highly recommend, thanks again to the homeowners. We WILL be back!

Fantastic Stay on Long Beach

This place is terrific. Very clean and well-kept. Only a few steps away from the waterfront. It's a great place to stay for a week on Long Beach. A good supply of beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys is available. The owners could not be more friendly and accommodating -- communicating at just the right times with just the right information. We had many visitors during our stay, all of whom remarked on how nice the cottage is and how lucky we were to find it. Would definitely rent this place again. Thanks, Mark and Joanne!

My husband grew up on Long Beach and I fell in love with it when we were dating. Our family has another home on the beach and we (with our 3 children) like to spend as much time as we can there each summer. We bought this house from another Long Beach family who has rented and enjoyed it for years as well. This beach is coveted and a well kept secret outside of the North Shore of Massachusetts. You'll notice that we would not rent a property unless we were comfortable staying there. Expect it to be clean when you arrive, and with amenities you'll need so you can spend the time at the beach.

Why they chose this property

This particular home is a traditional north shore beach cottage. While its updated with all modern amenities, it also feels like you are at the beach. When you sleep at night, you can hear the waves crashing from each room. You are that close!!!

What makes this property unique

Five rooms have a view of the ocean! The kitchen sink faces a marsh, and if you turn around to look at the stove, you see the ocean. There's an all season porch that you can sit and have a drink or read a book and look directly at the ocean. There is a spacious back deck overlooking the marsh with peeks of the ocean. There is a another small deck with ocean views for your morning coffee. It also has plenty of parking if you choose to bring more than a couple of cars.
