This was exactly what we were looking for our stay in Maine! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting at the lake, campfires, taking walks and just enjoying the peace and quiet.
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful camp again this year. The location can't be beat and the camp is adorable- perfect for a couple's getaway or to accomodate a large family. It is well stocked and quiet, with access to gorgeous Cathance Lake just steps from the back sliding doors. We look forward to our time here every year. Thanks for another great family mini vacation!

The outside property was wonderful. Bring an axe bcuz the wood for the firepit are large. You will also have to pi k out the papertpwels and plastic cups out of the pit. Also, the propane grill outside was filthy and we really wanted to grill but neither of us wanted to on that grill. Left over charcoal lighter cans and broken chairs on the porch. A nice touch was the dirt and screws left on the kitchen windowsill with a bandaid taped to the screen.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay! It was incredibly private.Everything you need is provided. This our third summer here and we love it.Gorgeous stunning sunsets. Loons out and about everyday. Thanks so much Sheridan! We hope to book again for next year!
Rustic fishing camp right on one of the best fishing lakes in Downeast ME. Eveeything we needed was right there in a rural wooded settting, simple but effective. Close enough to Calais to get food and supplies, and a good restaurant meal, definitly isolated, quiet, simple, no internet. Will return. Wish we could have brought our dog, living arra too dark.dark.dark.have brought our dog

Just an absolute beautiful place to stay! It was incredibly private. The cottage is just as described with everything you need. The wildlife were beautiful. There is nothing better than sitting on the deck and just watching the lake -- the view is stunning! One more time very private cottage right on the water, located on a very quiet, pristine lake.Thank you Sheridan for sharing your piece of paradise with us! Would definitely plan to return and have already recommended it to friends.
This northeastern part of Cathance Lake was peaceful and quiet. We were able to kayak around the cove. We fished for bass and sat on the shoreline by the dock just enjoying the sunset. Or enjoying an evening fire in the fire pit.
The days it rained we read and listened to a local radio station. Cell service was available by standing at the end of the dock, and that was all we needed.
We definitely will return next summer!
Quiet retreat on the side of a lake. Clean, with a few updates. Multiple gathering spots, inside and out. Enjoyed walking out on the dock and watching the sun set on the lake. Wishing the weather had been warmer the week I was there so that I could enjoy the lake more, but the solitude was nice anyway. No wi-fi signal except when standing on the dock and then only a couple of bars. Not totally unexpected, however, as the area is known to be spotty with wi-fi. Fortunately, I love to read so was only a minor inconvenience. Would stay here again if I am ever back in the area.
Sheridan is a great host and is very quick in returning messages. This is our second time staying here and won’t be the last time. Cathance is a beautiful lake and the surrounding area has all the necessities for fish camp.
This was our second stay at this beautiful Cooper camp property. We love everything about this place- the quiet location, the easy accommodations, and the great communication from the host. Highly recommend!
Cozy, secluded home on a beautiful clean lake. Well stocked, comfortable as advertised. Large fire pit, plenty of wood.
Great fishing, caught bass daily. Really enjoyed sitting inside watching the remnants of a hurricane on the lake. (While thanking God we chose a cabin stay vs a tent.)
We enjoyed every minute of our stay on beautiful Cathance Lake. The cabin was cozy, well stocked, and the grounds gorgeous. The host was an excellent communicator, quickly answering my questions and was extremely family oriented. All 4 of my kids had a blast, especially my youngest son who really enjoyed meeting the host. We will definitely be back, and looking forward to it!
A great and quiet spot with beautiful views of the lake. Plenty of space to stretch out inside and out. The bold coast and beautiful hiking is near by too.

The location of this cabin is awesome. However we had a horrible issue with mice. We stayed there just short of a week and had a bunch of our groceries destroyed by mice.
It was a nice older camp. It had everything you needed. Rustic interior lovely location right on the lake with a dock. We enjoyed the campfire, canoeing and exploring the area. Easy access to the coastal areas of Eastport & Lubec. We also were close to Moosehorn Wildlife Refuge has nice trails to bike and hike.
A group of us just staying at this cabin. We booked it last minute due to a change in plans. This cabin was just what we needed. Great location, everything you would need and beautiful sunrise and sunset views.
