Welcome to Sunshine Cottage

A bright, cheery welcome awaits you in this comfortably cozy cottage. Completely renovated from the studs out in 2018, Sunshine Cottage has 2 bedrooms with en suite full baths. The living room has a futon. The open plan living area leads to a large deck in back overlooking woods and a meadow graced by a wet weather stream. The large side yard is perfect for children to run and play and features an outdoor fire pit. A 2 minute walk down the quiet, dead end street brings you to the deck on the river with your own swimming hole (Average depth 4 1/2 to 5 feet, no diving!) complete with a natural cut to launch your kayak.

Sunshine Cottage is equipped with central heat/air, Wifi, Direct tv, washer/dryer, charcoal grill with your first bag of charcoal supplied, all new appliances (fridge has ice maker,) ceiling fans, wood burning fireplace with firewood supplied, 2 parking areas, LED lighting. A Britta pitcher in the fridge makes sure the coffee and tea supplied tastes just right.

Our stay was wonderful. The cabin was clean and impeccably decorated, with everything we needed. The furniture and bedding were comfortable. We reserved in March but didn’t come until October so there was one change. The living room daybed had been swapped out to a futon/couch, suitable for sleeping. (It was not an issue at all.) The kitchen was well stocked, with up-to-date appliances, and a pull-out spice cabinet. The yard was large and well kept, with a wooded area to one side. The neighborhood was safe and lovely.We’ve already talked about returning and we will stay here for sure.Communication was open and quick with the rental agent. A great stay for a great price!

This was a very nice get away. Very quiet and comfortable. The only downside was the WIFI quit working and we didn’t have any TV or anything.

Cozy cabin

Loved this cozy cabin. Perfect for me and my daughter vacation. And I loved the fact that it was pet friendly, I was able to bring my fur babies with me on this vacation. It was very convenient for the downtown area so I was able to get everything I needed.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. The cottage has everything you need for a stay. Just be prepared to live out of suitcase because of no dresser with drawers.
