Great location in Franklin TN

We stayed two nights at this property. The location is great in that you can easily walk to the restaurants and shops downtown. The place is like an efficiency apartment ... cute and comfortable with pretty much everything you need. There is a single parking place that is a bit of a challenge, but it is available.

Weekend Anniversary stay

We loved the Bluebird cottage.It was comfy and cute.Walking distance to downtown Franklin.Only change would be to trim the trees near parking spot to widen.

The outside of the cottage was pretty run down and the parking is very small and limited. Location was very good for walking purposes. Host was very helpful with the issues we had with the dirtiness of outside and needing toilet paper for the cottage. She also allowed us to park our truck in the main driveway since the main house was not occupied while we were there. Our truck did not easily fit in the dedicated space at all. The inside of the cottage was nice just disappointed with the outside and the parking. Feel like the online pictures are not accurate. We also had issues with a lot of mosquitoes inside the cottage. The host was very receptive just wish we would have booked a different location.

Chairs were not able to be used.
Chairs were attempted to be cleaned while we were there.
They did attempt to clean chairs and give us stuff to build fire.

Convenient

The property was very convenient for everything I had planned. I could walk or drive to downtown Franklin for shopping or having dinner. I loved the vintage interior of the property. Will stay there again sometime.

Quaint Cottage

We really enjoyed Nanci's quaint cottage. It was a real perk being able to walk to downtown. The decor was very pleasing and comfortable. Perfect for two! Parking is tight as mentioned by other guests so we took our smallest vehicle and had no issues.

Great location!

The cottage was adorable. It was within walking distance of the cute shops and restaurants. The only wrinkle was that it was hard to keep it warm enough. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Short walk to downtown, quiet & peaceful stay

if you want a quiet stay, great location in Franklin, romantic get away, all the amenities of a hotel but with more room, private parking for an affordable price, this location is perfect. With the apps like Uber Eats and GrubHub, you can have room service as well. Easy communication with host, full tv package, great floorplan, fridge, comfortable bed, great couch, washer / dryer, etc. Would love to come back in the spring or fall and enjoy the backyard area.

Best Ever Cotttage!!

Bluebird Cottage is immaculate, warm, inviting, super comfy, a very short walk to everything, nestled in a gorgeous neighborhood, and has everything you need for your Franklin stay. Do not hesitate to book! Oh, and your hostess is super quick to reply to any questions. And yes, Franklin is as cute, fun, yummy, and delightful as you've been told. ;)

Cottage Charm

Everything about the Cottage is Quaint, decor is perfectly appointed. It’s is very close to town. Hosts are amazing and very accommodating , they respond within a few minutes if need be! The only shortcoming is there is not a comfy chair to sit in. Other than that 5 Star! I highly recommend .

COVID Breakaway

This was without a doubt one of the best getaways. The host Nancy was very nice and the recommendations provide us with a fantastic experience of Franklin and the surrounding area. The cottage was extremely clean and perfect for the two of us. We literally walked everywhere and felt safe and secure even in the middle of the pandemic.

Pleasant experience.

Thankfully my stay was pretty much seamless. Upon entering was just taken by how adorable the overall look was exactly as pictured in listing. I checked in later in the day so the ambiance with the lights & soft classic music playing the background was simply magical for me. It’s cute, quaint and beautifully done. Basically like a hotel stay since there’s no actual kitchenette but I was just fine with that being for the weekend & utilizing local fare.

Our conference was 12 hours long and we were exhausted at the end of the days and the bed and couch are both very worn and hard. We drove an escape and could not park in the driveway because it was too small and the trees were going to take off the rear view mirror and scratch the car, the place could use some work, but is very cute and the location was terrific.

All in all, if you’re looking for a well located downtown Franklin location and planning to be out most of your stay, this place is a good fit— It’s a 5 min walk to Main Street and host seemed nice when booking. That said I don’t think we would stay here again. Place was clean at first site but found chips under the bed, cobwebs in the lights/ decor, and fairly run down bathroom flooring & exterior when compared to pictures. Chairs around fire pit outside could use a good cleaning, they were pretty dirty. The lamps inside are controlled by Alexa but we weren’t able to get Alexa to work so weren’t able to use lamps or strung lighting, worried we’d be charged the fee to reset. Parking is a challenge as other reviews mention so we parked on street and walked most of the time. Everything else was as expected, place was pretty musty when we first arrived but once we ran AC it cleared up. Kitchenette worked for us and was clean but we weren’t there much to use it.. other than mini refrig & electric stove top. As someone else pointed out there is only one mirror, which is very small above sink in bathroom and no real closet space—- neither of which were issues for us though but something to keep in mind.

Overall, it was a nice little place to stay for the weekend with a great location to downtown Franklin. However, there are some things I would change/update: the parking is awful. It barely fit my mom’s Rav 4 and my Enclave would not fit due to the overgrown trees/brush. If they were to trim that it wouldn’t be that bad. There also isn’t any available street parking nearby that I felt comfortable leaving my vehicle overnight so I had to opt for a parking garage in downtown. We had an issue with the front door lock. I think the batteries were going out. Let the host know and she said she would be over later. She never showed and never followed up so it was left unlocked for a day and we had to take our valuables with us. That was kind of annoying. I would also add a full length or at least bigger mirror. There’s a tiny one in the bathroom that is not very accommodating. The bed is pretty uncomfortable as well and we found hair in the shower and cobwebs around some of the decor, and the Adirondack chairs outside could use a pressure washing. However, the host did let us check in a couple of hours early per my request, which was nice and like I said the location is great! Just needs a few updates and it would be perfect!
