Beautiful little cottage in a gorgeous location. We appreciated the cleanliness and all the amenities provided. Felt very cozy and perfectly decorated in shabby chic aesthetic. Overall a wonderful stay.
Convenient location in the quieter part of MDI. Although the cottage lists it sleeps 9 I can't imagine more than 6 adults due to the limited seating area in the den which can also double as a bedroom. I would definitely stay here again.
Adorable cottage in a great location. We really enjoyed that side of the island and was easy enough to get to Bar Harbor and other Acadia Locations. Very clean and comfortable space
Quaint cottage that is very well stocked and clean. Large yard with fire pit and grill. Second rental in the garage that is very well separated with a fence and different parking. Close to Bass Harbor for a boat ride and Southwest Harbor for restaurants.
Great cottage - as advertised. Definitely has that ‘on the water’ feel. Really like the blue and white motif. Very good location too…was even walking distance to two eateries (Lobster house and and a burgers/lobster/soft serve joint). And about the restrictions on where the dogs pee: Don’t sweat it too much. For a quick outing, there was the wooded area on the property just off the lawn…but my dogs really preferred going for a walk down the sleepy street the property was just off of. That is how we discovered the lobster place - Archie’s - by walking our dogs.Highly recommend this place and we will rent again when we come back to visit Acadia.
The design and decor of the house were exactly as pictured - an adorable little bungalow that comfortably slept our family of 5. I missed it in the fine print, but other travelers should be aware that there is no A/C upstairs - just in the main room on the first floor. Unfortunately, in mid-July, it was extremely hot upstairs, but our kids did fine with it. We were comfortable on the first floor.

Thank you for the review and feed back! Yes, our house air conditioner downstairs and in the past this has worked out great! This year for first time temperatures have been unseasonably hot! We are looking at ways to install A/C this fall for next season! In the past the temperature goes down at night and rarely do guest ever use the A/C! Most of the homes new and old rarely have A/C on the island! But, my apologies for the weather during my guest visit during July 2026! We are addressing the issue for future travelers

Clean and well organized. Nice smell, nothing overpowering. Very close to the light house and a yummy lobster and ice cream place. Parking a little inconvenient if you have more than one car, but two can fit side by side. They use scented laundry detergent if you have allergies. Very hot and high pressure shower. Well lit downstairs bathroom, very well pleased with the bathroom. I like that they had extra fans. Dishes all seemed very clean and plenty of them available to use, well equipped for cooking. New appliances. Plenty of sleeping spots if you have children. Cons: bad Internet! Beware if you have to use your own devices. The Rokus worked fine tho. Maybe a little too many rules and you have to do chores before you leave. Probs need an upstairs ac unit.
