My family (children, spouses & grandkids) have visited Lake Hartwell several time over the years. This house was the best we've had. Good size, great bedroom space for us, the kitchen space and amenities were wonderful and the dock was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The owner quickly responded to my questions, even before we booked. Big thumbs up on this property.
Great house for a large family! Plenty of room for everyone and all King beds was so appreciated! Kids loved the bunk room! We were able to bring our boat and hang out on the dock, all weekend! There were a lot of stairs at the front and back of the property, that was a challenge for older folks.Russell was very responsive and helpful!
Our family had an excellent stay and enjoyed all the space to spread out and relax. The dock was a great space for the kids to play and hang out. Overall a great house, would definitely return!
We spent several weeks at Russell‘s property and he was excellent host. The water was perfectly deep for our wake boat and the house was absolutely dreamy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice and clean with plenty of room for our large group. The host was accommodating and always responded promptly to any questions I had. We would definitely stay there again.
This place was great for our family to be together. Beautiful views! I would not recommend for handicap or elderly, due to lots of stairs and steep driveway, but younger crowd would be fine. Overall a great experience!!
This beautiful lakeside home was perfect for our family gathering to attend a Clemson football game. House is very well appointed, comfortable, and clean. There was plenty of room for everyone, not to mention a spectacular view from every room.
Home is our new favorite rental in the Clemson area! Kitchen was stocked like home and made it so nice and easy to feed a crowd. Views were STUNNING! And we appreciated having so many king beds! Perfect rental for multiple couples!
We had two families enjoy the weekend get away. Russel was very quick to jump on anything we needed.
Had a few items that were addressable for the future renting and followed up with photos when this work was underway.
Awesome stay
This house is great- exactly as advertised, and truly a beautiful location. Communication was great, and plenty of room for 8 friends to spread out and spend a few days floating, cooking, and catching up. We would most definitely rent this house again!!
This is our second time staying here. It is such a wonderful location and space for our family. The house is fantastic with so much room, it is just the 6 of us, but there is plenty of room for three couple and six or eight kids. Huge living areas upstairs and down and the downstairs is a wonderful place for everyone to hang and enjoy each other!
The dock is amazing and water is plenty deep!
I highly recommend this location!
My family and I have stayed at this lake house with friends on two separate occasions. It’s clean, spacious, and well appointed. The furniture and beds are comfortable and the owner is very responsive. The view from the living room and kitchen can’t be beat. The dock is large and easily accommodates a big group. It’s located on a quiet part of the lake and situated perfectly for watching the sunset. We will definitely be back again next year!
We had our family meet at this house to stay for the Notre Dame /Clemson football game. The house was great - we had a chili dinner Friday night and the kitchen was well appointed for serving etc. ( could use a blender or food processor that is complete) The beds were super comfy, view was outstanding and we all wished we could have stayed several more days. It is about 35 min's from campus so plan accordingly if guests are headed there.
Russell was a great host! We spend the 4th of July with family and friends at this Lake Hartwell home. It was very spacious for 3 families and just as listed. Russell was accommodating with answering our questions and clear on communication . The satellite internet is poor, which didn't bother us, but if you do need to work, plan on not having a great connection. Thank you, we really enjoyed every minute!
The house was clean and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary equipment to feed a big group. Loved having an upstairs and downstairs area to hang out. The kids loved the ping pong table and TV area downstairs in the evenings, while the adults hung out upstairs. Beds were very comfortable. Dock was a great place for everyone to gather during the day. Plenty of lounge & folding chairs for everyone. Plus the umbrella was great to keep some of the area shaded. Everyone enjoyed the canoe, kayaks & paddle board provided. Sunsets on the dock were gorgeous. Thank you for a great family vacay.
The property is lovely and the views are exceptional. We were there to celebrate our family Christmas and we had informed the host at booking but there were no Christmas decorations except a tree without the top so that was disappointing. We had lots of room and all the beds were comfortable. The most important areas were very clean but there were large spider webs in windows and on light fixtures. The pantry and kitchen had wonderful supplies. Location is great, we enjoyed the lovely town of Seneca with its beautiful Christmas lights and quaint downtown area as well as Clemson and Greenville.

Apologies! We did not anticipate providing Christmas decorations for your arrival on the 27th, but glad you all enjoyed your stay without them! You would have been more than welcome to bring your own decorations, as we certainly did not want to dampen your holidays. We try to keep up with exterior spiders but unfortunately the lights attract them but will look into this further.
