Fun lake house

Spacious house for our family of seven. Easy lake access and paddle boards were a nice amenity. Checkin was haphazard and WiFi a bit slow but a very enjoyable stay.

Great House

We had a great time with family and friends. The house is charming and perfect for two families. Loved that the house came stocked with snacks to start us off, such a nice treat. We’ll be back!

Beautiful Home

The house was beautiful, just as pictured. It was clean, well stocked and very cozy. Comfortable beds! We all slept so well. The kids really enjoyed swimming by the dock a using the paddle boards. We rented a boat for the week and were able to use the dock to keep the boat. The screened in porch was wonderful and views from the top deck were amazing. Close to town and lots of food options. 10/10 recommend!

All the comforts of home +

Everything about Burton Surf Club was warm and welcoming, from the comfy and plentiful beds to the thoroughly stocked kitchen! The coffee station was everyone’s favorite, as we could each personalize our morning beverages. Our family cooked some great meals, played board games, and relaxed on the day beds in the screened-in porch. Just as promised, there were bikes and stand-up paddle boards in perfect shape (they all looked new) in the basement. Anchorage Marina, where we rented and docked a pontoon boat for the weekend, was a short walk away. We were as comfortable as we would be visiting friends or family. Burton Surf Club was the perfect site for our annual Father’s Day/birthday weekend celebration for my husband and son.

Nice Place

Our family gathered for our annual vacation. With 2 teenagers the location couldn't have been better. If you are an outdoor person this is the place to be. We did zip lining, mountain biking, white water rafting, hiking, swimming, boat rental and paddle boarding. The house was well stocked with snacks and other esse3ntials. We thoroughly enjoyed the week.

Lake Getaway!

We had a great time! The owner was very attentive and helped with any questions. The house is so comfortable ( especially the porch area) . Everything is located within walking distance for renting boats and jet skis to local groceries and restaurant. Enjoyed paddle boarding off the dock and sitting on the upper deck in the evenings. Lake Burton is beautiful! We definitely will be coming back!

Long weekend stay

Initially double booked causing a bit of chaos. Property nice but away from water making it difficult to get paddle boards in and out of the water up to the house. Nice porch area and clean property. Owner provided snacks and was flexible on hours.

Family week

House great! Well supplied, we always bring our own supplies Paper products, drinks etc. owner supplied more than we used. We used very little of their supplies. Only negative was lake access.

Amazing!

The home was stunning...our children and family had countless games to play with and entertainment throughout the home inside and out. This home was so comfortable, each bed, couch and the porch was made up for an afternoon read with one of their many books to choose from!
