HIGH TIDE - 2 Beds / 1.5 Baths - Pet Friendly

High Tide beacons people who love the beach. It is the upstairs unit of a duplex. You can enjoy the breeze on your exclusive ocean view decks of High Tide with sunrise or sunset skies while you sip a beverage and contemplate the good life.

Pets are always welcome at the beach home of animal rescue and pet lovers Rich and Lynda Weaver. Rich is retired from the military and after 28 years and 17 moves they are enjoying Florida life. They and their two cats, Max and Magirk, live in St Augustine.

The duplex beach house is in the very heart of St Augustine Beach, on the beach side of the highway A1A, literally steps to the water. They want their beach house to be your beach house and St Augustine Beach to be your beach. Everything you need to be at home away from home has been considered. A kitchen you can cook in if you want to, luxury linens, beach gear including towels, chairs, umbrella’s and a beach cart, a grill, large screen smart tv, wifi of course, DVD player, hot/cold outdoor shower with foot rinse, good parking and that all important short walk to the sand of St Augustine Beach.
You can easily walk to restaurants, groceries are nearby as well as all the entertainment opportunities that have made St Augustine a famous tourist destination. The pier, with its Wednesday market, is 2 blocks. High Tide can be reserved with Low Tide making a vacation destination for 10.

Great location

We really enjoyed staying in this location. The deck was great, and access to beach chairs and other beach gear as well as the kitchen and grill really made us feel at home. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Simply Wonderful

Everything about High Tides is first rate - the property itself, how it is stocked, location, owners and the property manager Morgan. This was our fifth or sixth stay and we have never had a single thing go wrong. This place is what a beach house should be!

Wonderful location

We loved everything about our stay. The unit was clean, inviting and comfortable. We had everything we needed including beach chairs and umbrellas. The proximity to the beach, restaurants and Old Town can’t be beat.

Great location. Well maintained. Access to beach is a block away. Will be closer when beach access is restored off of 15th St. Some noise from parking lot next door but box fan solves that problem.

Great beach house

Our second time at High Tide, and it's even better. Owners are continually updating the house and appliances. It's a comfortable, well-equipped house, great location steps from the sand, yet close to downtown St. Augustine. And Morgan, the house manager is a treasure - excellent communication and service. Beachside tranquillity

The house was amazing….so much attention to detail. The decor was very beachy, but ohhh so comfy and homey!!! The owners have supplied everything that you would need for your stay, which makes for a lot easier planning for your beachside vacay. Morgan the manager was very friendly and accommodating. They even left a bottle of wine and snacks….what a classy touch!!! Thanks so much for sharing your little piece of paradise!!! We will definitely be back, and recommend our friends!!

Getaway for Professionals

We had an absolutely awesome holiday! Traveling party consisted of my husband, my cousin and his husband and myself! All of us have been working since this pandemic started non-stop in our respective fields of healthcare, law and transportation. This had been the first break that any of us have received. We enjoyed walking the beach, sitting on the balcony in the early mornings and evenings listening to the ocean and just being able to spend time together in the beach house. Island Donuts that sits directly in front of the beach house is absolutely amazing! Sunset Grille rocked also! Thanks Morgan for making our time there so pleasant! Can’t wait to book again!

Me and my Babies

PERFECT VACATION! We loved having the deck to just enjoy the fresh air and the sound of the surf, enjoying wine and a book. The dogs LOVED the beach and we loved the flexibility of going when we felt like it because dogs are allowed all day. The home is fully equipped, oops it may have raised dog bowls now too :), so don’t stress about bringing kitchen or beach stuff. The vibe in the space was so comfy and relaxing, something a teacher truly needed after this past year! I truly didn’t want to leave! Thank you Morgan for being so easy to reach and checking us in personally. We hope to be back again in 2022! Kelly

Great beach get away

We cannot tell you about all the wonderful features of this property because we would have to write a book. But let me Mention a few. Fabulous location, comfortable beds, very nice furniture, fully equipped kitchen, coastal beach theme throughout, great outdoor area to relax, super nice owners and Morgan the property manager. Morgan met us there and helped with our luggage and showed us where everything was. On a negative note, this property spoiled us for the next week of our trip. Great location, awesome stay!!

Pictures can't describe how amazing this home is with regards to comfort and location. Being able to take a few steps down the road to get to the beach was a very important amenity considering we came with our kids ranging from 5 to 12. No major roads to cross. The kitchen is well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. The available beach gear with the cart was an added bonus. Morgan was great and was able to quickly help us with any questions or requests we had. He even mailed back my husbands wedding ring that he left on the shelf! (At least he didn't lose it in The Atlantic Ocean.) If we ever visit St. Augustine again, we will definitely consider staying at High/Low Tide again.

Great Stay and Great location

The property was outstanding and fit our family of four very well with easy walk to the beach. Great amenities and very comfortable! Beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards all provide too! Loved it. It is the upstairs unit with a view of the ocean from the deck which was nice especially in the evening after a long day on the beach. The only very minor issue we had is the employee parking lot for the restaurant is right next door and after closing one night, restaurant workers were a little loud partying in parking lot until about midnight. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Was too tired from the beach to care. Thanks again to High Tide for a great experience. Will definitely be back.
