Enjoy your stay @ 1st Street Retreat, a newly updated DOG FRIENDLY open concept studio apartment with private entrance and fenced in yard. Location is 1 block to the beach and walking distance to all your favorite restaurants like the famous Taco Shop right on the corner, Mango Mangos, Beach Comber, Café Eleven, Sunset Grille, Salt Life and the best ice cream in town Cone Heads.

Get in the car and take a quick 7 minute car ride to historic downtown and enjoy all it has to offer.

The outside retreat consists of outdoor shower which is great after a day at the beach with your dog, Propane BBQ, table and chairs, a propane fire pit for those cool relaxing evenings which goes perfect with a glass of wine.
We also provide beach chairs, beach towels, and beach cart.

Inside you will enjoy the beach feel of the open concept apartment with free wireless internet, Cable TV. New dog friendly floors, freshly painted, new windows, New King size bed with new linens, brand new kitchen with stainless steel appliances which consist of oven, microwave, Keurig coffee machine, toaster oven, blender, ice bucket,
dishes, cups, bowls, silverware etc. Bathroom with walk in shower and all amenities you need.

We allow up to 2 dogs, there is a dog fee of $75.00

SMOKING OUTSIDE ONLY

NO CATS ALLOWED , IF A CAT IS FOUND THE TENANT WILL BE EVICTED WITH NO REFUND

All you need to do is pack your clothes and your dog and come and enjoy our little retreat.

1St Street Retreat

We love the accommodations and have come for several years. Dog friendly with huge back yard and dog lawn to boot! Lisa, our host, is friendly and very thoughtful in details. We look forward to coming again next year with our fur baby!

Exceptional in every way!

Super clean. Fabulous, spacious studio. Fully stocked with everything you would need and more. Fenced in yard with grassy area for the pup. Beautiful large patio with grill and firepit. Right across the street from the beach and very close to some great little restaurants, burrito works being our favorite! Easy little ride to downtown st augustine. Lisa and Tony fabulous hosts, very helpful and non intrusive. If you are bringing a pup don't look any farther than 1st St retreat. Every one will be happy!

Birthday Beach Trip

Location couldn't be better... Such a short walk to the beach, which is exactly what I was looking for! Also very close to many restaurants and bars for quick drinks and eats! The dogs truly loved the fenced in backyard and grass area. The simple kitchen was well stocked and the grill outside made cooking our own meals super easy! Communication with Lisa was easy and quick! Thank you for maintaining this adorable pet friendly beach house, it truly made my birthday trip that much more memorable!!

Most puppy friendly spot ever!

Great place to stay, a walk from the beach, food, and entertainment! Whole back is fenced with plenty of places to sit and relax! Lisa and Tony are fantastic hosts!

My husband and I chose St Augustine Beach because it is a nice beach town that is dog friendly. After traveling to a few places and finding issues with finding accommodations that are clean, we'll maintained and dog friendly we chose our house in st augustine which is 1 block from the beach and we loved the fact we can offer a Pet friendly place to stay for others.
