Anastasia Lodge-Family & Dog Friendly Beach Cottage

Welcome to Anastasia Lodge!

Tucked away in a peaceful beachside neighborhood just steps from the ocean, this charming two-bedroom, two-bath Florida cottage offers over 1,790 square feet of living space, providing plenty of room to unwind. With a split bedroom layout, you'll enjoy added privacy. Anastasia Lodge features Wi-Fi and cable, with a large flat-screen TV in the living room and TVs in the bedrooms. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for making breakfast before heading to the beach or preparing dinner after exploring the Nation's oldest city. The fully fenced yard is ideal for kids or a furry friend (up to 45 lbs, $200 pet fee) to play, complete with an outdoor shower for rinsing off sandy feet. Off-street parking is also available in the driveway.

Dog friendly ONLY, other pets will not be considered due to allergies. 2 dogs max! *WITH FEE* $200 If you are bringing a dog, please reach out to us directly about our policy and fees!

The unit will be equipped, just like a personal home. There are linens plus spares provided in each bedroom, towels (bath and beach), dishes, bake ware, etc. in each kitchen for easy meal prep. There are 2-3 beach chairs and several beach toys provided (we do not provide umbrellas as they are a safety hazard). There are several groceries stores within a half a mile, however we do start you off with a starter pack of cleaning and paper goods:

* 1 Toiletry Bag per bathroom (travel size with shampoo, conditioner and lotion)
* 2 Toilet Paper Rolls per bathroom
* 1 Paper Towel Roll
* 1 Bottle of Dish Soap
* 1 Bottle of Hand Soap per bathroom
* Dishwasher tabs
* Laundry Soap
* Several Kitchen Trash Bags
* New Sponge
* General Purpose cleaning spray or wipes

Really all you have to bring is your personal toothbrush, your clothes and start enjoying yourself and relax

Great location, perfect yard for pets. Plenty of room for everyone. 2 1/2 bathrooms is a plus. Very clean and yard kept up during stay. Highly recommend.

Short trip

We enjoyed our stay at the home. Had one issue with hot water heater not working when we arrived. The repair qas finished in a timely manner. Also keep an eye on air it wants to go to default setting of 75. The yard was fenced in with a nice tall fence. Neighborhood was nice and quite. We drove to the park instead of walking to beach. Drive was about 2 minutes if that. Plenty of towels and large washer and dryer. Will stay here again. Maybe a 10 to 15 minute ride to historic st augustine. Salt life restaurant was close and was good.

A great location, tucked away on a quiet street, short walk to everything.

What a great little spot. A short walk to the nearest beach access (beside the Embassy Suites on the State Park side), and an easy walk down the beach to all sorts of dining and drinking options. The dogs loved the fenced in yard, and basking in the sun. No complaints about our stay, and will keep this property on our short list if we opt to return to St Augustine.

Great location and clean!

House is in a fantastic location. A very quiet neighborhood in the middle of everything, easy walk to beach and restaurants. The house is a little dated but it was so clean that more then made up for it. The property manager was easy to deal with and was really fast to respond to any questions. The huge fenced in yard was great for our dog. We would definitely stay here again especially if traveling with our dog.

Location location!

Out of all the vacation rentals I’ve stayed at in St. Aug Beach, this one is in the best location! Just across the street from the beach, right by Anastasia State Park, and a 3 minute walk to great bars/restaurants. The place was very spacious and clean. It is an older home and could use some updating in the bathrooms and a decor refresh, but honestly these are minor things. The backyard is HUGE- we didn’t realize how much yard there was at first. The fence is cement block so perfect for dogs- no chance of escaping. We loved the kitchen- it’s very big and had tons of space for us to store food. Would stay here again!

Wonderful property

My family of 3 plus our dog stayed at this rental property for a few days for Memorial Day weekend. This home is very comfortable, clean and the location is perfect. A very short walk to the beach, close to restaurants and shops and a short drive to the historic district and grocery store. So close to everything but is also in a very quiet neighborhood. We brought our dog and the yard was perfectly secured and fully shaded for her to roam. The kitchen is stocked with so many dishes, pots and utensils and just about everything you’ll need to prepare food. There are no spices at all not even salt and pepper so you’ll need to prepare for that, but Publix is a short 5 minute drive. The beds are very comfortable, but they are both queen size beds. Would have been nice if at least one bed was king size. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

The place was perfect. Large bedrooms and plenty of space to spread out. The yard was amazing and relaxing with more than enough room for our dogs to explore. The location was within walking distance to everything you could want.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and central to everything else we wanted to do near St Augustine. The house is spacious and had a large, private, fenced in yard for our dog which was awesome. It was nice to be able to walk to the local restaurants and a short drive to historic downtown. Being able to park in the dedicated driveway in front of the house was nice too. I highly recommend for location and space.

Roomy house. Great yard. Location is perfect.

The house has 2 good size bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms. Washer/Dryer area off the bedroom. Plenty of table seating area in the dining area off the living room and in the large kitchen. The backyard was perfect..lots of shade trees, plenty of outdoor seating. 3 min walk to the beach area..Location is close to everything. Only negative thing I would say is the house needs some plumbing work done. New bathroom sink and tub faucets and toilets. The faucets are older and do not want to work correctly. We did have an issue with a toilet and the owner came himself to repair it and asked us to send him a list of things we had issues with so he would be able to work on them. If the faucets and toilets were replaced, we would have given a perfect rating. Other thing is that the one bedroom closet was full of personal stuff and had no hanging room in it for our stuff. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to St. Augustine.

This house is in a great location. Excellent backyard for the dog. Stayed here in June and everything was wonderful but since then the shower in the main bathroom isn’t working well. Both bathrooms need updating and the toilet runs and the faucet drips. Other than that great stay. Just update the bathrooms.

An Enjoyable Stay

We had a great stay at this property. The backyard was perfect for my 2 littles to run and play. It was spacious enough for us to spread out after a long day to relax and a very close walk to the beach. There were a few lizards/bugs in the house but it wasn’t too big of a deal - it’s Florida after all.

July 4th getaway
