Coastal Beach decor throughout this amazing, recently rehabbed, spacious home with everything for your family vacation. Five bedrooms, three baths, sleeps up to fourteen. A jetted hot tub that waterfalls into salt water heated pool with amazing views. It feels as if the Lake is at the pool edge. We have so many amenities, kayaks, paddle board, bikes, outdoor shuffle board indoor converted garage game room, fishing gear, beach gear and more.

Amazing Getaway

Our family had an amazing time! The kids had lots of fun as they had plenty of things to do in the house. Very quiet neighborhood. The water park recommended was great and literally 5 mins away! We were beyond happy with our stay!

A wonderful stay

We enjoyed our time at Schell-Topia. The home was beautifully decorated and contained everything that you would need. The outside view was picture perfect. The kids loved playing air hockey in the garage, too. Can't say enough, hosts were very helpful and made us feel at home. We would highly recommend!

Another wonderful stay!

The owners are honest and trustworthy. The home is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. This was our fourth vacation at a Scheller home and it was as beautiful and well cared for as the others!

We ended up picking a windy week in December but we really enjoyed our time together. We played games, laughed and told many stories. We’d come back anytime we could. It’s a lovely home.

Great for large families

This home was in a great location on Lake Kennedy and had plenty of space for our large family. It fit our needs perfectly. The home was very clean and well stocked. The kids enjoyed the outdoor space and pool. The communication with the host was exceptional and they even were able to get us in the home a little early since we arrived in town that morning. Would definitely recommend!

Relaxing Spring Break

We had 3 families stay at the property, with kids ranging from 6-18. We had a great time. Everyone had plenty of space and all the extra amenities were so nice. Stu had great communication and was very quick to respond when we had questions. We used the pool a lot and everyone loved fishing off the dock. The location is great, everything you need is close by. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone!

A Great Getaway

The home had just the vibe we were looking for and fit our group of 6 adults and 5 children perfectly. The pool alongside the waterfront was wonderful and the hot tub was nice and hot! We didn't get to kayaking or fishing as hoped, but the amenities were available. Even though we brought our own, five stars for having a Scrabble game and baby walker! We were pleasantly surprised by so many little things that made the stay away from home more comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great lake view

The house worked out very well for us. We had our adult kids and grandkids with us and there was something for everyone. Lots to do with the shuffle board, fishing, air hockey and of course swimming and chilling by the lake / pool. House had nice very nice personal touches and nice decor. Bedrooms are pretty bright in the mornings but other then that, very comfortable

Better than expected!

We stayed at ShellTopia with 3 families, age ranging from 2.5-43 years old. Everyone loved it! The pool was our favorite part, but the views did not disappoint. The location was quick and easy to get to from the airport. The host was amazing, and anytime we needed to get ahold of him he was very quick to respond. The rooms were spacious and the kids loved the bunk room! Lots of room, a wonderful home away from home. We would recommend this house to anyone and would definitely stay here again! Amazing!!!

Family Reunion

I searched many homes for our Family Reunion and 90th Birthday celebration for our Mother. The Schell-Topia property hit the mark on every level. Both the outdoors and indoors are well kept. It is located on a beautiful lake, large enough for boating, fishing, Kayaks, etc The Kitchen is full of all kinds of Cookware, Dishes, utensils, etc. Plenty of leftover spices from previous renters. The bedrooms were perfect for our family and the beds very comfortable. Plenty of towels, pillows. 2 sets of washer/dryer and great storage available for extended stays. Pretty much everything was in working order. The pool was great and temperature was perfect. Stu & Kathy were great with communications. I highly recommend this home and will likely stay here again in the future!

Family Get Away

This property was perfect for 9 adults (4 couples). Each couple was able to have their own room. The bedrooms were exactly what was stated on the site. The kitchen was perfect for us. We got groceries and cooked 3 of our 5 nights there. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed to cook our meals. (minus a big kettle pot for a seafood boil, which we got a $30 one from target) Outside was nothing but spectacular. We spent mornings out in the lawn chairs soaking up the sun and floating in the pool. The kayaks were great for fishing in, sadly we were unsuccessful with our fishing adventure. We had a Shuffle Board tournament that was very competitive and fun! Evenings were spent soaking and reminiscing about the day in the hot tub and in the comfortable lanai. (5-6 people could sit in the hot tub comfortably). The house was about a 30 minute drive from RSW airport. Fort Myers beach was also about a 30 minute drive. Everything we did in Cape Coral was about 5 to 20 minutes. This house fit all our needs and was perfectly located. Thank you Stu and Cathy for allowing us to use your beautiful vacation home. We would definitely stay at another one of their locations again.

Wouldn’t stay again

The inside of the house was beautiful. The exterior pics of this property were deceiving. For what the homeowner charged it was just a bit meh if I’m being honest. The pool area is far different from the pics. Probably should prepare for a guest with planters that aren’t all dead and update the outside space a bit. The home could use a new set of pots and pans as well. They are all warped and scraped up making cooking difficult. Floors were filthy as well but I was able to go purchase more cleaning supplies to clean, clean. We just weren’t impressed with the property overall. Cape Coral area was far drive from everything we wanted to do. Over an hour in the car to get to fort meyers beaches … first interaction with Stu wasn’t most pleasant. He didn’t know our flights were missed and 12+ hours travel making us not get to property until late without thinking of grocery delivery. Telling me to tip the cleaning crew for bringing them in was just a bit rude to me. I didn’t even know what he was talking about tbh- I had just walked in the home. It didn’t feel like a kind welcome if I’m being honest … we wouldn’t book again

The property is amazing, there is much to do in the home. We enjoyed the pool right on the water, kayaks, and paddle boards. The house is fully stocked with everything you need and hosts were communicative. If your plan is to hit the beach, that was the only downfall. I read on the description the distance of beaches but also read some close beaches which there are not, the closest access is about 45 minutes away.

Great house!

Great house for our two families. Very clean and comes with lots of amenities. Pool and hottub were a little smaller than we envisioned but we all enjoyed and had fun. The extras; paddle board, kyaks and fishing equipment were awesome!

Awesome location

This property was perfect for our spring break trip. House was everything and more as in descriptions. Perfect amount of space, with everything you need. From kayaks to paddle board to games in the garage there was plenty to do on property. There was also a water park across the lake and mini golf and bowling close by. Stu and Cathy responded almost instantly to any question we had.

We loved our stay at Schell-Topia! The house was amazing and the perfect size for 8 adults and three kids ages 2,3, and 5. There's lots of space, which made the stay much more enjoyable. Stu and Cathy were very pleasant to deal with, He answered every question I had very promptly. We enjoyed using the bicycles, kayaks, hot tub, and heated pool! Schell Topia! The AMAZING lake views. This property is on a point with a pie shaped lot with the widest portion of the lot running all across the back of the house on the lake. VERY private...you hardly notice your neighbors. The size of this house also drew us in as many of our guests travel with multiple family members or friends. This house will offer plenty of space, rooms to spread out, ample eating areas and a HUGE open concept kitchen, living and dining area. It was so large it felt like we were rehabbing two normal sized Florida homes. It took us 6 months of work and details to get it up to our standards...but we think you and your family/guests are going to love it. WE DO! Please read our reviews!

Breathtaking Coastal/vintage decor. Crazy fun water views from the kitchen and bedrooms, 2 wood burning fireplaces, 2 jetted hot tubs (one inside, one outside), double shower in the upstairs Master, open air salt water pool with waterfall, large pool deck for sunbathing (8 Polywood Lounge Beds) and gas grilling, large dock for fishing/kayaking, 60' outdoor shuffleboard deck. Boat dock ideal for great fishing with the lake stocked with large mouth bass and Tilapia since the 1960s. Perfect location to the many white sand beaches - Ft. Myers beach 30 minutes, Sanibel beaches 45 minutes, Captiva beaches 1 hour. Mini Golf, Bowling, Laser Tag and Sun Splash Water park is one mile away.
This house comes with the use of 2 adult kayaks, 1 youth kayak, 1 paddle board, life vests, 2 bicycles, lake fishing gear, an outdoor retro shuffle board court, converted garage game room with Air Hockey, and indoor shuffle board, a second fridge, beach gear, coolers and so much more. Many of our guests are so overwhelmed by the Schell Topia experience that they never leave the house during their vacation!! Hard to believe, but yes it is that awesome!
