This house is very spacious! Plenty of room for your family. Located in a very nice area of Cape Coral. The pool was the perfect size and the dock out by the canal has been updated and very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing! We enjoyed the whole week. The house was exactly how it was described in the listing. Check in was easy. The host was awesome at answering any and all questions. The pool was nice and cleaned with tons of floats. We even left 5 new floats for the next guest. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us that stayed. We will be returning soon with the whole family.

Overall, our stay at the house was short as we were gone for 1 night and arrived late due to flight issues. Very big and clean home, all amenities were provided and didn't need anything. Love the pool and did some fishing from the dock. Very informative home owners and they provided a plethora of information for us, which we did take advantage of. Overall, very good experience and would stay here again.

We were in town for my father in laws funeral so we just needed a place where we and our grown children and spouses could all be together. This place ended up working out beautifully. It felt comfortable, like home, and there was plenty of gathering spaces for all the visits we had from family and friends giving their condolences. It made a sad time extra special being able to all be together and reminiscing rather than being separated in individual hotel rooms. The space is great, we even enjoyed the pool one day. Oh and all the things they have available to use are just great (we used infant floats and noodles). The house definitely has a grandmas home feeling, decorated probably in the 80s, mauve tub and all but like I said it just made it that much more homey. We would definitely stay there again!

Clean, comfortable, and in a nice neighborhood. Far enough away from the city noises but close to activities. My 6 year old loved the pool.

We stayed at this property in April of 2026. The location was outstanding. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Great views from the lanai looking over the canal. The pool was beautiful once it heated up a day and we spent more time outside on the lanai than in the house. We did find that the love seat on the lanai needed some TLC. The seat was broken on one side and the attempt to fix it with duct tape prior to our arrival was unsuccessful. Since there was only two of us this didn't present a problem because there were many other seats to choose from.Overall our experience was great and we would definitely visit again in the future.

Jackie, thank you for the honest review and for how gracious you were when things weren't perfect on arrival. The pool heater had a mechanical issue that was repaired within 24 hours and the loveseat has since been replaced. Your kind words meant a lot. We'd love to have you back anytime.

Beautiful home with a great view!

We stayed in this house for 9 days and loved it. We were outside the entire stay just swimming and enjoying the view. The house was fully stocked and they provided more of the essentials than we are used to getting. Communication with the owner was easy and we would have booked our next trip down with them if it had not already been reserved. We would definitely recommend this house.

Wonderful Experience

We rented this property for 4 nights in December 2023 to visit a sister for her birthday! The house was beautifully furnished with a master suite at one end and other bedrooms at the other end of the house! There was plenty of room to spread out! The back patio and pool area was our favorite place to hang out! Host was very good about communicating, quick responses to our texts!

Cape Coral Villa

We had a perfect experience. Property is well maintained and offers everything one needs to relax and have fun. Beatiful canal view, queit location, home as pictured, a lot of good instructuons left by owner in a binder and posters to make the stay pleasant, very good furniture and beautiful decorations, abundant sheets and towels, lots of space and literature to enjoy, owner responds quickly to concerns. Shops and beaches are nearby. Highly recommend it as a place to relax from the noisy city life if you live in one.

Great house but not that clean

This was our third stay at this great very comfortable home with a beautiful view. We love how spacious and inviting this home is with four recliners in the family room and large rooms through out the house. The pool area water views are like what you expect to find in homes 3 times two to three times the price. Unfortunately this time the homefailed us in cleanliness and preparation.

I am sorry that you had a problem with our home. This is not what I expect to see in a review. I confronted the person that is responsible for cleaning and preparing the home for arriving guests pertaining to this review. He said he had an emergency and another person do the cleaning. He said that will not happen again.

Great spacious home with great location! Kids loved the pool!

We spent a week at the home and had a great time! The kids had enough room to sprawl out thru the home on the one rainy day, and spent the bulk of the rest of the time there in the pool, or out by the dock. My only two suggestions would be: 1) to add a railing or rope to the dock piers, as we have little ones and that was a little scary, as we were nervous they’d fall in; and 2) the garage floor was VERY slippery with the condensation dripping from the a/c / air handler unit hanging above. We just made sure the kids got out on the one side of the vehicle each time, but as I was the driver, I had a couple instances of nearly slipping and falling. Just needed to be extra careful. All in all a great experience. Pool toys were a big hit. Would be a huge bonus if the hot tub was functional next time we came down! 😉

Tyler, Thanks for your review and your valuable input. That is a good idea for a rope from piling to piling along the dock. It would have to be easy to remove because we have guests that bring there boat or rent one and they would have to dock it along the dock. The other thing with the dripping of condensate (water) from the AC air handler in the garage is being addressed. We have been waiting almost a month for our AC service company to install a drain pan under the unit. He said there is a shipping problem. He said it will be in the next week or so. I should have warned you if the humidity is high it drips. That will be corrected. Bob and Elaine LePage

Perfect Vacation Oasis

We had the best time at Bob and Elyane’s house! Everything was more than we could have imagined. The house was just as advertised with so many hidden gems (bikes, beach toys and pool floaties)! The neighborhood was perfect and a nice calm to our chaotic days at the beach. Our kids loved the pool the most!! Our time spent on the dock was also a nightly enjoyment. We ate our meals outside and watched the fish jump in the canal every night. We lucked out with perfect weather and with the covering on the pool we were able to be out for quiet swims at night or just able to relax and read a book. We drove into Fort Meyers Beach quite a few times and spent many hours swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand! Parking can take some time so be patient. Eat ice cream at Kilwins and for sure eat at Doc Fords! The best meal we had!! The house was perfect for us...2 adults and 4 children. Plenty of space and a large kitchen/living area to stay together for a movie as well! So much to do and well worth it. We will definitely be back!
