Please see the aerial video to appreciate the wonderful location of this home on a point of land where two wide canals intersect. You will feel like you have escaped to an island paradise surrounded by water as you enjoy the privacy of the expansive lanai and screened area (2100 sq ft/200 sq m) for casual dining, swimming and relaxing. The spectacular 40 foot salt water pool (12 m) with a sturdy handrail at the stairs and a beautiful view of the wide water on three sides of the home will refresh you while swimming a few lengths, playing in the water or just sitting and enjoying your favorite beverage. The outdoor under roof (lanai) itself is a large 655 sq ft (61 sq m) but more importantly, it is 24 ft deep (7 m) providing lots of protection from the sun. In addition, the see through outdoor power blinds can be lowered as needed to provide extra sun protection but not block your view. The comfortable custom patio furnishings will enhance your enjoyment whether dining or just lounging. Because of the wide panoramic view, we often see Osprey, Bald Eagles, Egrets, Little green herons, Ibis, Red Tailed Hawks, Shrikes and cardinals. Burrowing owls live at the end of the street during season. There are mullet jumping high out of the water and we sometimes see Manatee and Jackfish.. The mangroves fringing Cape Coral are only one major block away making them easily accessible with our canoe.. Gentle breezes come in off the Gulf of Mexico most days. The bedroom has a few extra features for romance. We also have two new bike with helmets and lots of bike lanes in the area. One guest even biked to the beach, 7 miles away. The new Sands Park, five minutes away boasts four pickleball courts, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, bean back toss and a paved walking path. It is easily and safely reached by bike. You will quickly realize that this home is well above the standards set by most rental homes in Cape Coral. The half acre lot (750 sq meters) boasts 207 ft of shoreline (82 meters) with two docks that don't block your view and a large lawn at the back. In total the home has 6000 sq ft of enclosed space (550 sq m) including a two car spaces in the three car garage reserved for guests. The interior of the home under air is 3000 sq ft home (280 sq m). It is located In a quiet neighborhood in the highly desirable South West area of Cape Coral on two wide Gulf Access canals. The canal to the south is three times wider than most Cape Coral canals. The general area is well established with modern homes. The home has an open floor plan with the master bedroom separate from the guest wing. The guest wing includes second large bedroom with a king size bed and a games room with a new queen sized pull out couch. A Jack and Jill bathroom is accessible to both. There is a $14 per day charge for each guest above two. There is also a 18 cent per KWH charge for usage above 40 KWH per day.
The extra wide hallways and doorways, extra space in all living areas, comfort height toilets, walk in shower and grab bars make this beautiful custom built, home the perfect place for a Florida vacation for all, especially those who might have some mobility problems. We are fragrance and chemically sensitive so our home is low in chemical irritants which is important for those with allergies and asthma. There is a whole house water filter system plus a reverse osmosis drinking water system in the well equipped kitchen. There is a billiards table, a foosball table and 85 inch TV in the games room. The Great Room has an 85 inch TV and very comfortable seating for TV viewing (a power reclining leather couch and two leather swivel chairs with adjustable backs and foot rests) You won't want to leave home except to enjoy some of the nearby waterfront restaurants at Cape Harbor and Tarpon Point or to venture further to the beaches. The closest beach is at The Cape Coral Yacht Club seven miles (fifteen minutes) away. Wi-Fi and free North American calling is included. There is basic cable service with Comcast, Netflix and a personal video recorder. There is a third TV in the master bedroom. Overall the furnishings are high quality, sturdy and comfortable. Most pieces swivel and recline. It is an eclectic and interesting mix of old Florida and modern Florida. The master bedroom is beautifully furnished with Drexel Heritage. It has a split king adjustable bed to enhance your sleeping comfort. It would be considered a soft bed given the 3 inch latex foam toppers on the soya foam mattresses. The king sized bed in the guest room has a firmness level of 7. The new Italian leather queen sized sleeper sofa in the games room is comfortable and incredibly easy to pull out or close up . Both the guest bedroom and the games room have direct access to a large walk in closet and oversized bathroom. There is a small set of drawers and shelves for clothes in the games room should someone be sleeping there. The laundry room has new full sized Maytag machines and tons of counter space. The den is set up as a private office. There is a second desk in the large games room. Both desks have good adjustable and swivel office chairs. There is also a new 18 inch fairly comfortable inflatable mattress for the den which creates a fourth bedroom. The separate bar area is well stocked with glasses. There is plenty of room in the deep and wide garage for loading your vehicle. There are three low rise steps with a handrail access the house from the garage.
The quiet neighborhood is lovely and safe for walking or biking to enjoy the Florida landscapes. Our lot is the corner lot with 207 total feet of shoreline on both wide intersecting canals. We have vacationed in Cape Coral for 23 years now and love the place. We searched for years to find the ideal lot and found it in 2010. In 2015 we completed this 3000 sq ft home (280 meters) incorporating all the features necessary for the most comfortable and luxurious vacation possible. We also built into it all the "aging in place" features we could think of. It is well above the standards of most rental homes because it was built for our private enjoyment and we live here five months each year. We believe you will very much enjoy your stay here. Suffice to say....it is a very special home.

Beautiful and Relaxing!
This property was absolutely beautiful! We go to Cape Coral every year and when our previous property we stayed at last year was unavailable we found this home and we couldn’t have been happier! Home has everything you could possibly need/want. Pool is perfect, our daughters (6 year old and 6 mo. old) and my husband and I loved the pool and spent most of our time there. The views from the pool are stunning. The owners have gone above and beyond when making sure guests are happy with their stay. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. Home is close to everything in the Cape. Already planning next years trip, hoping to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

The house is ok but there are ant traps all through the house. We found some (not a lot) in every room, including the kitchen. The master bedroom has an adjustable king size bed which was one of the main features as to why we picked this house. It was the most uncomfortable and noisy adjustable bed I’ve ever heard. Apparently if you use more electric then they have allocated you will be charged an additional amount once checked out. It was just myself and my wife and excess electric was used even though the thermostat was set at 78 degrees. The house rules book states for you to leave the house as you found it. I understand not leaving things in disarray, removing the trash etc. but it gives you the impression mopping, vacuuming etc. is expected even though a cleaning fee is in your rental price On the good side, the pool was very nice. The house was in a great location on the canal.

You will not be disappointed!!!
To be honest I didn't want to leave! Amazing views over the water, sunsets from the pool deck. This home has everything you could ever want. The owners were super responsive to any questions I had. Will definitely be back. Zero chemicals whatsoever, this is the home away from home. Perfect, no worries of being exposed to anything toxic. Filters on the water, no toxic fertilizers on the grounds, safe to be barefoot on the grass. We totally enjoyed ourselves and will be returning very soon. Thank you!

Our family has been going to FMB area for over 30 years. After the Island was ruined we needed to find another place. We choose this home, and will never look back to going to FMB This home delivered more than expected! (you can tell how owners take pride in this home) We traved with our friends, we both were celebrating our 40 yr wedding anniversay. They to were amazed at the home and the property. Excellent communication with the ower Evan. In the home, they had detailed insturctions how to work everything, also they included area attrations, restraunts, this was the best written details I seen from a rental. We ask about renting a boat he gave names, we were able to us there dock. We used Blue Coral Boat Rental, and highly recommend them. George, delivered the boat to the home and pick it up and the end of our stay. Besides boating, sitting on the lanai over looking the water was the most relaxaing and we didin't want to leave

We favour peace and quiet, privacy, comfortable high quality furniture, a high end home entertainment unit, generous spaces and all the small things required for a wonderful vacation. We built this home for our personal comfort.

Why they chose this property

We looked for years for the premium lot and finally found this almost half acre lot (twice the size of most lots in Cape Coral) on wide water intersecting canals in 2010. The lot has 207 feet of seawall versus the average Cape Coral lot of 80 feet. We spent years designing the ideal vacation home for ourselves and completed it in 2015. The Google aerial views were taken before the house next door was house was built. It is finished now and looks great.

Water views on three sides, South west exposure, Large half acre lot with 207 ft of shoreline on intersecting canals, very private lanai area, new 3000 sq ft under air home, 2 garage spaces reserved for guests, all the comforts of home plus, built with "aging in place" in mind, two docks that don't block your view, large 2100 sq ft lanai and screened area, high end comfortable furniture, large kitchen with island, games room with pool table, quiet, safe area in extreme south west corner of Cape Coral near the mangroves on the Spreader Canal, whole house water treatment to remove chlorine plus a reverse osmosis system in kitchen, fairly quick access to Gulf of Mexico by boat, close to waterfront restaurants and marinas. We have two new bikes, a canoe and a fishing pole as well as underwater fish lights. The master bedroom has a few extra features to enhance romantic evenings.
