Family Tides is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit with bonus loft located beachfront at Sugar Dunes in Seagrove Beach.

Fireplace is available, however, we ask that you only use a duraflame log as this provides enough warmth.

You will love this gorgeous, beach front, top floor condo, "Family Tides", in the popular Sugar Dunes complex! As you walk in the door, you will first be greeted by a bedroom with a king bed, flat screen TV, black-out curtains and an en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combination. The next bedroom you will see is a guest bedroom with two full beds, flat screen TV and black out curtains. This bedroom has private access to the shared hall bath that has a walk-in shower. The master bedroom is next with a queen bed, beach views, flat screen TV, en-suite spacious master bathroom with two vanities, dressing table, soaker tub and walk-in shower. Also in the hall is a laundry closet with a full size washer and dryer. 

At the end of the hall, you will enter the open living areas of the kitchen, den and dining areas and you won't be able to miss the awesome beach views from the floor to ceiling windows! The living area is comfortable and spacious with a sectional sofa and flat screen TV equipped with TIVO. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and more... The dining table seats 6 with additional seats at the kitchen countertop.  Just up the stairs is the bonus loft with sleeper sofa and flat screen TV.

You will enjoy watching the early morning dolphins, sunrises and sunsets from your private balcony. The balcony is large and has a storage closet, table, seating and stairs that lead directly to the sand and overlooks the beautiful sugar white sand and emerald water of Seagrove Beach.

Sugar Dunes is a family friendly and quiet complex about 1 mile off of Hwy 30A. You can rent bikes and enjoy riding the Timpoochee Trail or discover the many bike paths in Seagrove and other surrounding areas. Centrally located between Seaside and The Hub, there is an abundance of shops and restaurants within only a few miles.

Includes 2 chairs and 1 umbrella for rentals between March 1-October 31.

Renter must be 25 years or older and must be staying at the property throughout the rental period. 

Sugar Dunes is a gated community with a maximum of two vehicles allowed per condo in designated parking spots. Anyone found with more than two vehicles (unless unloading) will be towed at the renter's expense. Vehicles parked outside garages must be parked in designated space and must display parking pass at all times during your stay. No golf carts, boats, trailers, RVs, or jet skis are allowed.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was a great place. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen looked well stocked. We love the view and enjoyed the quiet area. We were close to a few restaurants and stores which was really easy.

Perfect location!

We’ve stayed in countless places up and down 30A and, more broadly, the Florida panhandle and Alabama coast, and the location of this mid-rise condo is par none. It’s right on the beach, and the staircase down to the short boardwalk is accessible immediately out a door from the balcony. Well stocked and perfectly clean inside.

If you are looking for a place right on the beach in the quiet end of Seagrove, look no further! We have been coming to this area of Seagrove for years but just discovered Sugar Dunes last year. This top floor unit is clean and comfortable with nobody stomping overhead at the wee hours of morning or night!

Great Family Vacation

We truly loved this property ... We were literally just steps from the beach and Ocean .. the view is spectacular. Each day we had 2 chairs and umbrella waiting for us. We watched dolphins swimming from the balcony. We also cooked seafood each night & truly enjoyed the family time. Well stocked kitchen & close proximity to anything we needed. Will defiantly return. Thank you for a great family vacation.

The proximity to the beach was incredible with a private beach access from the balcony, and the condo was stocked with just about everything you need in the kitchen, had tons of bath towels, extra pillows, blankets etc. It could use a little updating and maybe new grout to feel “fresh”, it was cleaned but definitely felt musty. We had an amazing trip and loved the privacy, the beach was not as crowded as it is closer to seagrove and seaside. Those beaches and amenities are still very close though! We had 4 adults, 2 pre teens and 2 teens and it worked out perfectly!

Perfect location

The condo is located in a very quiet location right on the beach. Gated complex with an elevator. Amazing views from the wall of windows in the living room. Balcony is nice with direct access to the private beach. Daily chair service was great! The three stars are for the lack of cleanliness in the unit. We found hairs in all of the beds and on the floor, mold in the showers, and dirty dishes. More than one trash bag and one roll of paper towels would have been nice. Balcony rails on the entire building are not terribly sturdy. They are not plastic, not wood. Not sure how long the balcony and stairs will remain intact. Flooring is weak and posts are pulling away from the building.

Outstanding Location

Our stay didn't start well since the unit hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. We called and they sent someone over to clean so a couple hours later everything was good. I can't imagine a better location, directly on a private section of beautiful beach. The unit is spacious but a little tired. The electric cooktop had a broken knob making the main cooking element unusable. I notified the management company early in our stay about that and some other items and though they promised someone would be out that day they hadn't come when we left 4 days later. Despite our issues I would consider staying here again strictly because of the beautiful beachfront.

You're paying for the location

The Sugar Dunes is on a beautiful stretch of the beach and the units are connected to the beach by a very short boardwalk, which makes getting to the water really easy. There were a lot of units in the complex getting updates so I am sure those will be premier spots to stay. This unit is very outdated, cluttered, and not super clean. It needs more than a fresh coat of paint. Metal parts like hinges, bath rails, etc were rusty and the toilet seats were so worn the color was rubbed off. The furniture, especially the couch, is so old it isn't comfortable. It could be such a great unit if given a little love. But the location can't be beat!

self imposition by property security and maintenance

We have traveled to Seagrove during the October months for 3 decades and have never been bothered by a property maintenance and security person. He was in our apt twice during the week with babies and never once offered to wear a mask in anyone's presence. Just made himself at home in our space. Secondly, our son came into town for two nights and we received a very rude call about being towed. I was very polite during the entire exchange, he continued to be extremely rude. I even told him I'm not being confrontational, but just needed advice where to park our car. He recommended a sand lot where my son's car got stuck. We had to call a tow truck anyway to move the car. I would have preferred some grace and mercy here since there were plenty of parking spots in our lot. Fortunately, our neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Hancock offered us one of there spaces because there were so many spaces. I'm saddened that the ownership was much more accommodating than the hired help, who blamed his attitude on being a marine. that honestly gives marines a bad name since I've never met a rud marine. needless to say, he should not treat people as he does and made our week a downer.

Fantastic location, property needs improvement

First of all let me say the location of sugar dunes can’t be beat. Private beach in Seagrove. Walk right down to the water. However—pictures can’t show what poor condition this property is in and in need of a total overhaul. When we arrived, there was a terrible musty smell and we were coughing and sneezing (now we know because of fake plants literally everywhere). The refrigerator was 58 degrees, and the A/C wasn’t working properly at all. We had no WiFi. The property manager Ann was great to try to help us get these things resolved, although we believe for the amount we paid per week they should have already been taken care of before arrival. The owner of the management company called us to “resolve” things and told my husband the air was working fine. (I sweated all night long...) Turns out the AC was indeed broken and in need of repair which they did. They also finally got someone to fix the WiFi but on day 5 of our trip. Now back to the actual property itself—paper thin “carpet” with black stains everywhere; dust literally everywhere (they did send their fantastic cleaning crew back out but again—should have been rental ready); curtain rods bowing and about to fall out of walls; worn cushions on all seating that made it uncomfortable; huge bulky very outdated furniture; pocket door that was broken; vents dripping in master bathroom; cheap fixtures, furniture, everything. And so much stuff everywhere literally nowhere to put your own things. After reading the reviews of this place, it looks like we are the only ones that have posted something negative. However it was very real for our family. We won’t be returning to this property especially at that price unless drastic changes are made.

Right on the beach

The unit is nicely decorated and outfitted with seating and dining space for a large family. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and the laundry a nice feature. The top floor provided great view of the ocean/beach and it was quiet. The elevator made getting our things up there easy. We had a great week.

Excellent beach front

It feels like sitting on the starboard deck of a cruise ship out on the deck! No better beach access than this. If I were to change anything it would be to have all hard surface flooring. Carpet does not hold up in this environment. I would also declutter the living space that has lots of dust collecting decor. Overall, a solid A!
