About this property

Kihei Beach Cottage - 1 Block to the Beach!

This cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is just one block from the beach, offering a peaceful and private retreat. Perfect for a relaxing vacation or remote workers, traveling healthcare professionals, snowbirds or those in transition to longer-term accommodation. The cottage comfortably hosts up to 4 guests maximum and has been recently renovated.

We are located in a lovely, quiet, local neighborhood. The property includes a main house in the front where other guests stay. There are 4 steps to enter the cottage. Walk to the beach, Kalama Park, the Cove and Kukui Mall as well as shopping and restaurants.

Our listing is not child-proofed and contains tripping and falling hazards. It is also located close to a shared driveway. Due to these safety issues, our listing is not suitable for children under 10 years old.

We do require all guests to arrive before 9 pm as check-ins can be noisy and disturb the neighborhood and other guests at night. It takes a minimum of 1.5 hours from landing to arriving at the house without any delays, so your flight would need to land by 7:30 pm. We recommend as early as possible flights, as we can often check-in guests earlier than 4 pm.

Maui County short term rental licensing regulations do not allow anyone on the property except the registered guests. If you have friends or family in Maui, visiting or gathering will have to be at other locations.

When requesting or inquiring, please make sure to enter the number of guests and list each guests name as well as the time you are landing.

Owners live on the property. We like to give privacy to our guests, so if you need anything, message or text.

Your personal email address will be requested at the time of booking. A signed short term rental agreement is required and will be emailed for your esignature. Guests booking the property must be staying at the property - 3rd party bookings or subletting are not allowed. Unless booking through a company account.

Beach chairs, beach towels, cooler and ice packs are provided.

*There is not an outdoor BBQ grill or use of grill on site.

*There is an outdoor security camera that monitors the driveway/entrance to the property. It does not monitor any private spaces.

Kihei stay

Very clean and quiet space. Walking distance to some awesome beaches. Really enjoyed the peaceful spot to retreat to at the end of the day and the ability to walk the beach in the morning. Everything we could have needed for an extended stay was there. Great spot.

Quiet Neighbourhood

Great getaway from the crowds in this lovely cottage, just steps from the beach in a quiet neighbourhood, yet close to the main amenities. It had everything we needed for our family break. Would recommend.

Clean, Peaceful & Quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. After running around each day seeing the sights of Maui, it was so nice to return to this house in a quiet neighborhood, away from the noisy tourist-crowded hotels & restaurants! The beds were very comfortable, and Leanne was easy to communicate with and helpful without being intrusive. We highly recommend if you are not into the hustle-bustle of the many hotels and condos on the island. J&M January 2023

Private cottage getaway

This cottage is very clean, efficient and spacious. The way it is situated on the yard (behind the main house) combined with the mature plants and trees means it is very private. You can walk a few blocks to a good swimming and walking beach. Beds are on the firmer side. There are multiple AC units plus ceiling fans so you won't get hot. Cottage comes stocked with helpful essentials like coffee, sugar, soaps, and laundry detergent. Highly recommend!

Great location and fabulous cottage

A great little beach cottage, perfect for low key independent travelers. I especially loved the outside beach shower, the filtered water and the fact the hot water in house was solar heated!

The location of this beach cottage is perfect! It is a short walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The quaint neighborhood is a slice of heaven on Earth with quiet and respectful residents. The host, Leanne, has exceptional attention to detail. The home had everything we could possible want or need and was in pristine condition.

Awsome stay and host

Family spent 1 week at the property. Centrally located to both sides of the island. If seeking for scheduling own fun outside of the resort and experience local, it's a great place. LeAnne was a great host. We stayed in very cute 2 bedroom cottage for family of 4. Definitely would stay there again.
