Sweet Oceanside 3BR/2Bath 1400 square foot house with gorgeous Ocean & Sound views. Short 3 minute walk down a quiet street to easy beach access (wide path, easy-to find, no double dunes). The first level opens with a wide furnished south sundeck with 6 person jetted hot tub. The spacious great room features a cathedral ceiling with multiple skylights, comfortable resort style furniture, and HDTV entertainment system with WiFi internet access and YouTube TV package. The large open kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, flat-top oven, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, full-size W/D, air fryer, plenty of counter space, a breakfast bar, and a pass through to the attached dining room that seats up to 8. Bedroom 1 has a King bed, and enjoys a semi-private bath. Upstairs bedroom 2 includes 2 twin beds, and shares a newly renovated bath with Queen bedroom 3. All bedrooms have streaming capable flat-screen TVs and ceiling fans. The second level features access to a furnished ocean-view sundeck. The ground level has 2 concrete driveways for extra parking, an outdoor shower, picnic area, charcoal grill and fish cleaning station with hose.

We enjoyed our stay. I was a bit concerned being next to the campground, but it was a non-issue. There was plenty of room at the beach and it was an easy walk to the beach from the house. Our boys enjoyed the Spikeball and hottub. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Seas the Day was the perfect beach home for our family of 5 this summer! Family surf lessons from Cape Hatteras Surf School at the end of our street, the most surreal sunrises/sunsets/moonrises, coffee shops and farmers markets, orv ramp 25 down the street, and steps to the beach. Definitely returning to this gem!

Seas the Day was a great place to spend a relaxing week on Hatteras Island! Amanda’s place was very clean,spacious relaxing and quiet. Amanda was helpful and easy to talk to. She provided so much info on the area that we appreciated. My husband enjoyed the hot tub everyday!It’s walking distance from the beach and close to some eateries. Also we found the public beach access not far down the road that had parking showers and bathrooms. Plus you don’t have to climb any dunes to get on the beach which is helpful when you’re in your 70’s! We spent the day on Ocracoke and even went fishing in Wanchese! We would definitely return to Seas the Day! Thanks Amanda, for a great time!

Cutest beach house I’ve stayed in! The pictures do not do it justice. Very clean and well maintained. It had a lot in the way of extras, such as dishes, pots and pans, spices, extra blankets and pillows. There was even a “treasure chest” with extra shampoos, soaps and lotions. A cute jar for you to add your names and where you were from on a shell. Short walk to the beach and close driving distance to some wonderful restaurants, with some within walking distance. We enjoyed evening walks to get ice cream. Amanda was very responsive and gave us so much wonderful information on great places to eat and things to do! We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our time at Seas the Day very much. We liked being able to walk to the beach and to the Bay. The kitchen was stocked well enough for us to do our own cooking. We used the recommendation to eat at Good Winds to celebrate the 60th birthday of one of the group. It was very good food. We didn't spend a lot of time in the house because we roamed the island from Corolla to Ocracoke, but when we were there, we put 3 3/4 puzzles together (the last one had to be packed in the box unfinished) and read several books. Several of the group enjoyed the hot tub every evening.

The house was great and very well stocked with everything we needed. Great restaurants nearby and in Avon! Beach was only a 4 minute walk and not crowded at all. Hot tub was awesome for evening relaxing! The host gave us a ton of information for dining and things to do and was very communicative!

Great family trip

The house was lovely and in a great area with perfect amenities. It has a very dog friendly yard and a great outdoor shower. It was a nice place to gather with family that was staying in the area.

Great location

Beautiful house with everything you need

Hi, my name is Amanda. My husband Orlando and I both welcome you to "Seas the Day" in beautiful Waves, NC. We both grew up in and around the Washington DC area. During those summers, we spent many idyllic vacations exploring and camping on the beaches of the Outer Banks. Today, we call Richmond VA home, but our hearts have never left the Outer Banks.

Why they chose this property

About 10 years ago, we acquired a pop-up camper and decided to take our maiden voyage to the Cape Hatteras KOA. We were blown away by the spectacular natural beauty of the beaches, lack of crowds, and the amazing fresh seafood available in the area. After several summers of making this our regular camping destination, we decided we loved the easy-going vibe of Hatteras Island, and bought "Seas the Day". We know you'll enjoy it as much as we do.
