This property was perfect for a girls getaway in wine country. Such a beautiful home and spacious outdoor area. We loved the big back porch. The pool and hot tub were nice amenities. The host was quick to respond to all our questions and flexible when we needed a last minute change. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
LOVED this house! This was actually the second time I stayed here and I purposely rebooked it because the backyard is a dream. The only thing to note is the beds are rock hard. Other than that it’s a great house
So glad we had the pool heated. The property grounds are beautiful but yes, the big tree provides a lot of shade so pool does not heat up without extra help. The house has everything and more that is needed for a wonderful stay. Beds are very comfortable. Had a wonderful stay, very relaxing and close to town.
Recently had a girls weekend here and it was perfect! Very clean, huge yard, and the hot tub was nice and hot already upon arrival. Would definitely recommend!
Our group of friends had the best time here. Pia was a wonderful host, and the home had everything we needed for our weekend trip. Every part of the property is thoughtfully designed and well kept. We'd love to return.
Our travel from the Midwest was a great success! Pia’s property was amazing. It was very clean, well decorated, all necessities were onsite. The grocery store was close by along with many restaurants and wineries. I would highly recommend her home and stay here again if I’m back in Sonoma.
We came to Sonoma on a womens trip celebrating our 40th birthdays and it did not dissapoint. The house was perfect for some outside time and relaxation when we were there along with large tables for eating and cooking together! We are from Maine,so the warmth outside was just what we needed!
This place was perfect for our group. The home had high end touches, was very clean, and the backyard space was absolutely gorgeous. Location was so convenient. The owner was very responsive and accommodating.
This is a beautiful, updated, spacious home that is well organized and has everything you need for your Sonoma getaway. It is close to town but remote enough for privacy. Unfortunately, it was too cold to enjoy the lovely pool, but the house more than suited our needs for a group of 8 adults in terms of sleeping, bathrooms and dining space.
We absolutely loved our time here. Pia was so accommodating and prompt in responses. She has an absolutely gorgeous home and made everything so enjoyable and easy for us. We are already talking about and trying to plan our next visit.
I spent a winter holiday week with 5 other family members at Twin Oaks. The well-appointed kitchen was perfect for family meal prep and gathering. The den with a TV was also great for gathering and board games. The winter weather was very rainy during our stay and this property may be even better in good weather so people can enjoy the pool and outdoor activities. The home is a short drive from Jack London State Park for hiking and to learn some local history. It’s also a short drive to Sonoma Square which is one of (the?) largest town square in the state.
Lovely property with large garden not far from the center of Sonoma
This is a very well maintained property with many great amenities. It is close to the town of Sonoma but still in an area that gives one the feeling of being in the countryside (there are neighbors, but also quite a bit of vineyards/ farmland nearby, for instance). There's a pool that can be on the cool side, as it is in the shade. We didn't pay extra to heat it, but I would imagine one would want to depending on weather. We don't usually rent in this part of Sonoma, and I probably wouldn't again but for some visitors, being such a drive close to town and its restaurants would probably be a plus. Note that typically, there's a very early checkout and a late-ish check in, which might bother some people, given the price. I can imagine that the early checkout is because big properties require more time to clean up between guests, but still. In our case, because of a booking error and an online doctor's appointment that I couldn't miss, we didn't actually check out so early, and the owner was very accommodating as it was she who made the error. Also note that we were a bit anxious going into this because the owners are very picky and both warn and ask questions in advance about how their property will be treated. I get it. In fact, it's the reason that we don't rent either our own home, or our vacation home. But it does feel a bit awkward. That said, once we were there, we felt relaxed and we really enjoyed the place.
Pia's home was relaxation perfection. It had everything we needed and more. We even arrived to fresh flowers and a bottle of wine on the kitchen counter :) The pool and shade from the beautiful oaks were a nice way to beat the heat on the warm days we were there. We particularly enjoyed the comfort of the outdoor seating areas and the expansive and peaceful back yard. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. I was particularly inspired by the furnishings...she has a great eye!
We had the most wonderful stay in Sonoma. This home is just as the pictures show- it was extremely clean, well stocked, pool & hot tub were such a nice added bonus and bed were comfortable. We had a slight issue at check-in, but Pia took care of right away! We highly recommend this home to anyone going to wine country. It’s a few miles from downtown Sonoma, but well worth it as it has so much charm & you feel like you are at a resort.
I rented this house for a friends' weekend and it was perfect. So clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen was well-stocked. All the beds and towels were comfy. It was a cold, rainy weekend and the house took some time to heat up but the fireplace in front room helped. The cottage room stayed cool and the bathroom there never heated up but that was my room and I wasn't in it for too long. The main house was great and the hot tub, even better. We loved taking walks down the road towards the ranches back there. The house is located at an easy distance to Sonoma Square or the main wineries as you enter the county. Overall, we all agreed that we'd rent this house again in a heart beat.
Beautiful property, had all the amenities we needed for our daughter's 21st birthday celebration. Went wine tasting at two wineries, cooked breakfast and dinner- had absolutely everything we needed. Enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub and having our meals outside on the patio in the morning and evenings. It was perfect!
This home is immaculate and every detail is thought of. Pia was an excellent host and communicated with us ahead of our arrival. We wished we’d planned less activities in Sonoma so we could enjoy the home more as it has everything you could need or want! There were instructions in the house for just about everything which was awesome and so helpful! Thank you Pia, we loved our stay!
The property is really nice! The living space in the main house is well structured with a wall separation of sleeping rooms from activity areas such as kitchen. The cottage detached from the main house is fully equipped and provides the convenience and privacy for a couple, if any, in the staying party. The outdoors area is very spacious full of sunshine, fresh air, plants, flowers, birds, sounds of the nature (only) and even a shed made of grape trees. Of course, those unforgettable giant towering Twin Oakes!! Extremely highly recommended !!
