Thanks, Heather. And congratulations on your nuptials. We look forward to hosting you again for another celebration at Creel Lodge.
Great place, very private. Much more spacious than the pictures show, with huge porches. The river rapids next to the home are outstanding, with a small viewing deck perfect for morning coffee. Would definitely return.
Real cabin experience, everything was as described. Perfect for families and very peaceful location to disconnect. Great communication with owner.

Good to hear you enjoyed your time with both indoor and outdoor activities. The river and upper porch are favorite places for our friends and family, too.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Megan was on point with communication at all times. The cabin was so cozy and the beds were wonderful! We enjoyed the views from the porch and hot tub and plan to book this cabin again in the future.
We had one of our best VRBO experiences at this house! Megan is amazing and every thing was great! There were towels for the creek, and just the right number of towels/wash cloths for our party of 6. Will definitely stay again!

Thank you for the kind review. If you loved your visit in October, just think of what you and your crew could experience during the summertime.
My husband and I rented this for a quick weekend getaway. It was a great property, had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Megan the property owner was very helpful.
We had an amazing stress, free getaway. The cabin is magical in its own way. We had plenty of on-site activities to keep us busy when we were not hiking the nearby mountains. The view is top-tier. We can’t wait to come back.

Thank you, Kara. It's so nice to hear how families spend their time at the cabin and in the area.
Beautiful home with everything we needed including hot tub and game room. Very secluded but close enough to town if we needed something. Loved the screened in porch and sounds of the birds and creek below!

Thanks for your kind words. Those are some of our favorite things, too.
AS ADVERTISED!! Gorgeous location this time of year. There are also a few flies that were taken. We totally enjoyed our stay…thank you Megan for all of the HOSPITALITY. We’ll be back!
We couldn’t have been more pleased with the property, the cleanliness and the responsiveness of the host. Exceeded our expectations In every way. Thank you!!!
We stay in Ellijay every year and this has been one of our best stays. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent. Directions and check in instructions were well communicated as well as check out instructions. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It’s a perfect location right on the river and great hiking. Highly recommend this one!

Hi Abbey. Thanks for sharing your experience at Creel Lodge. Yes, indeed, it's a magical place on the water. Hopefully, you can experience the mountains in the summertime for a completely new experience floating or paddling on the river.
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend with our three young kids, and we had an amazing time. The cabin was impeccably clean and soooo charming. There were super detailed instructions for working things like the fireplaces, which I appreciated. Several games/puzzles that our older kids enjoyed too. The location feels very secluded and private, and it’s in such a lovely spot. We would definitely stay here again
Megan was so great and we appreciated her opening her home to us. The home was clean and better than we could imagine! The most picturesque views could be seen from the huge porches. The kids loved the river and fire pit. We spent nights playing pool and sitting in the hot tub. Best family vacation getaway!
My family and I really enjoyed Creel Lodge! It had everything we needed and more! The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s so much more plus comfy beds! Also with the added bonus of the river to fish and listen to there really is no need to go anywhere else but if you do the surrounding community is beautiful and has plenty to offer also! Thank you Megan for allowing us to stay and we hope to be back someday soon!

Lisa, you experienced some cold weather. I hope you’ll consider visiting in the summertime to play in the river with some tubes and kayaks. The small rapids and calm pools are ideal for adventure and fly fishing. We offer discounts for repeat guests. Thank you for the great communication and feedback.
From booking to checkout our stay was amazing. Prior to our arrival we had several activities planned. Once we arrived, we settled and took full advantage of what the cabin had to offer to just relax. We did not care to leave the cabin. This cabin was just what we needed. Highly recommended!
The listing is just as described and then more! All the kitchen appliances you need and more! The cabin is secluded enough and yes there’s a bit of a trail down to the river, but that was also just as described! The cabin was so clean and I’ve never stayed at a cabin that had so many extras that were much appreciated! Excellent communication! We can’t wait to come back in the Fall! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Creel Lodge is a great place for celebrations. Most appreciative for the nice review from seasoned travelers, like yourselves. Happy Anniversary.
The cabin was probably the best all around out of my many stays in North GA. Everything was labeled throughout the house very nicely. It was a cozy, very clean cabin and everything worked as it should have. The pool table and ques were in great condition which always seems to be a hit or miss thing with most cabins. The hot tub was very nice and well maintained. Only a few negatives which to us were not that big of a deal. The parking area was hard for a larger truck to turn around. The descent down and climb back up from the river is a little steep but take your time and it’s fine. Also as avid fishermen we were really hoping to see and catch some trout, but they were nowhere to be found. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

Thanks for your feedback. Creel Lodge is a good fit for a guys' trip. Sorry to hear you didn't snag any fish. I think it was the end of a hot summer with low water. These trout love their hiding holes. Yes, the path to the river is in it's natural state which adds to the beauty of the property. I tend to say that the hike back to the cabin is of a moderate slope, but it can get you winded. The driveway is groomed regurally so cars can make a 3-point turn to exit. We can accommodate two SUVs with ample area for turnaround. Thanks for visiting. Sounds like you enjoyed your golf and fishing.
