Wonderful base camp for Zion &Byrce

Wonderful house. Comfortable beds. Great kitchen set up. Everything we needed was there. Very relaxing place to unwind after a busy day of fun

Great home for visiting Zion and Bryce

We truly enjoyed out stay in this house as it had all the conveniences and comforts of home plus was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and the beds were all comfortable. The view was beautiful and the muleteer were out every evening. The house is nicely situated midway between Zion and Bryce and is great for visiting both parks.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful cabin. Wish there hadnt been so much snow to enjoy outdoors. Could not even get to the grill. Inside had everything we needed. We had a great stay!!

Place was located in between Zion and Byrce Parks and an easy trip to Kanab. It was right off Highway 89. Place was very clean and had some staples that you didn't have to buy with your personal groceries. Hosts were great in answering questions. Have stayed at a few VRBOs in the past but this one was the best one!!

The cabin was better stocked than our house. Had everything we needed. One thing though was the hair dryer broke halfway into our trip. Something you can’t account for. But overall a convenient and wonderful place

Home Away from Home

Elk Ridge is a beautiful and very quiet neighborhood. Ms. Lacey Curtis, the owner, graciously allowed us to check-in early. We arrived after a very long drive, with a car full of frozen and perishable foods for our 9 nights stay. Also, she responded promptly to our questions via text messages regarding the operation of the TV and DVD. As other reviewers stated, we found what we needed, and even more, and had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We love the comfortable living room leather sofa. The outdoor furniture on the rear deck was ideal for star gazing at night. There were countless more stars than we get to see in our Southern California suburban night sky. The covered porch was our favorite place to relax and watch the rain, or to get away from the sun beating down on the rear deck in the late afternoon. The back of the house faces west, and therefore the living room and corner bedroom can get quite warm in the late afternoon. The reasonable distances to Grand Canyon North Rim, Zion, Bryce, Red Canyon, and Cedar Breaks allowed us to arrive early at these places, experienced no problem with parking, and enjoyed popular hiking trails without the crowd. Due to the severe drought, we didn’t find as many deer around the property as we had hoped. One neighbor, a long term resident there, confirmed large herds of deer often roamed about in previous years. We came well prepared in terms of foods and supplies for our stay. Therefore, the far distance to the nearest large grocery store was not an issue for us. The gas station right outside the neighborhood entrance was very convenient. We highly recommend this clean, spacious, and well stocked log cabin home

What a beautiful home!

Duck Creek Cabin

The cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful and we saw mule deer in the meadow most evenings.

Wonderful property

The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location to Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks and other local hikes. Saw mule deer every evening in the meadow below the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Amazing!

The cabin, the location, the view!! What isn’t to love! Just a short drive from Bryce Canyon, nestled into the trees with a wide open valley that had deer visiting every evening (and a large rafter of wild turkeys one morning). While there was only two of us, there is plenty of room for a larger group. If looking for a comfortable place to stay within easy drives to great national parks, and beautiful scenery, you can’t pass this place up.

Beautiful Retreat

Great cabin in a quiet setting, providing easy access to both Zion and Bryce Canyon. The accommodations were a great place to come back to and relax after a day at the national parks. Plenty of wildlife to view around the cabin, several deer and even a family of foxes.

Just Beautiful

The cabin is fantastic. Wonderful setting, beautiful interior, and exceptionally well appointed. There is so much room and the pantry is well stocked with incidentals. The owners have thought of everything to make renters feel welcome and at home. A looseleaf notebook is filled with all pertinent information needed to help navigate the area. We highly recommend this cabin. One of my all-time favorite VRBO rentals.

Loved every minute in the beautiful cabin

The host was wonderful. There was a snow storm the day we came in and she gave me an alternative route to take. If she had not we would not have made it. The drive was plowed so we could get to the cabin. Every question I asked she answered. The cabin was wonderful and the view was beautiful. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Zion adventure

Well situated for visiting Zion, Bryce Canyon and a number of State Parks. The house was perfect for our six member group aged from 15 to 80. We could spread out or gather for family events.

Great Cabin

We loved our three nights here. The cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed ending our day watching the wildlife from the deck. We saw lots of mule deer, a bull elk and turkey. A great midpoint to Bryce, Zion and North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

National Parks Visit

Bryce, Zion and Cedar Breaks National Parks/Monuments all very easily accessible from this location. Also only about 2.5 hours from North Rim Grand Canyon. Saw them all in our one week stay. Perfect!
