Beautiful property on a cozy creek. Clean and comfortable. Not too far of a drive to town and convenient access the Blue Ridge Parkway. My only complaint is the check in process required me to sign ALOT of documents (like 20 some odd times), sending a photo of my CC and then sending a photo of myself which is seemed counter to the point of using an app like VRBO. The reason given by the property is because of a last minute booking (within a week). If they can get rid of the all of that absurd check-in process I'd be thrilled to rent the property again.

Very comfortable, nicely decorated, the kitchen was more than sufficient for our needs, situated next to a creek that was great to relax next to. Check was very easy. Highly recommend and will make reservations again. Driving up the road to the cottage we saw deer, lots of turkeys, and a black bear.

Perfect cabin

We absolutely loved Creekside Retreat!! Everything about it inside and out was just as pictured and more! The town of Weaverville was quaint and getting to Asheville was quick and easy also. We were sad to leave and will definitely stay here again if we are in the area in the future

Gorgeous nature getaway

This property is beautiful! Private and secluded, my babies loved playing in the creek. Both fire pits are what you would expect with primitive camping deep in the woods, but you can walk right back up to the house if you need a break from the heat or bugs. The screened in porch was great for playing cards on a rainy night, would be made even better with a fan and some string lights! Only complaint was a strong mildew/mold smell in the master bedroom. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Peaceful

Trip with my daughter, the house was very clean and exactly as described. Beautiful stream runs behind the house. Easy to get to and only a short drive to shopping. Only feedback would be the TV only has Netflix. No antenna, cable or the ability to download other streaming services. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Mountain visit

We enjoyed the house. The front of the house was right off the gravel road and the noise from vehicles going up and down late at night and very early in the morning could be heard as we slept. We are both very light sleepers, so this may not bother most people. The fire pit was nice and we used a few times. We enjoyed visiting downtown and Asheville and TN. Overall a very nice stay and management was very responsive to all questions and needs.

The Best Little House on a Creek

This house is beautifully updated, with a setting on Reems Creek that is priceless! We could not have asked for a better spot. Our kids (7 and 10) never wanted to leave the creek. They spent most of the day catching crawfish and splashing around. The firepit by the creek was also super inviting and romantic. The house was clean and had more than enough supplies for our stay. The home is far enough away from the city to feel like you are in the woods but still close enough for day trips to Asheville. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend to friends and family!

Great location, great house 1 bad thing Very poorly marked address it was on a rock not visible, and address that was visible was a house on same street. Needs vastly improved address marking Not good a young mowed lawn on property for about hour maybe 6 to 7 and it interrupted nice eveing. He meant well seemed nice but timing very poor.

Beautiful creek by cozy house

We had a wonderful 3-night getaway to lovely Weaverville and Asheville in March 2023. The property was gorgeous. We loved the two creeks coming together in the backyard. Seriously love the sound and scenery of rocky waterfall streams 24/7. The fire pit was the nicest I have EVER enjoyed…and I have enjoyed a lot of fire pits! (Dozens). The house was VERY well stocked with all sorts of supplies. Fortunately we were able to leave most of them for the next guests as we had brought our own TP, trash bags, dish soap, etc. The beds were comfy. The fireplace was very warm on the cold 13-degree nights. (Hint: to turn it on, don’t do anything other than flip the switch to “on” on the back left corner.) Highly recommend!!! PS there is no cell service, so enable your wi-fi. The wi-fi worked well for us.

Father - Son mountain vacation

This cabin is located along a creek in the mountains outside Weaverville, NC. It's fairly small but with two bedroom and two bathrooms it suited our father and son needs perfectly. The place was very clean and Reems Creek provided a great white noise backdrop for pleasant sleeping after a day of hiking. We took advantage of the fire pit nearest the cabin and really appreciated having firewood available. The only downside is that the firewood wasn't bone dry so it took some work to get a good fire going. I believe that there is often some wood stored on the enclosed porch but not for our stay. The propane grill got use for one of our evening meals. With better planning we would have used it more! The kitchen had plenty spices, pot & pans, plates, cutlery, et cetera. The kitchen and bathroom fixtures are fairly new and of good quality. The beds were comfortable, showers had plenty flow and heat. All in all, it is a very nice camp but not a luxury home. It suited us absolutely perfectly and I would not hesitate to use it on my next visit to the Asheville area!

Enchanting Creek Home

Creekside Retreat is above and beyond most rentals. The owners have taken every opportunity to meet your anticipated needs. And the setting is the cherry on top. I was blown away by the close proximity to the creek and branch that run through the property. We had so much fun just enjoying watching and listening to the water rush over the rocks. We had rain every afternoon or evening while we were there, and observing the changes in the creeks was a highlight of our days. We didn't get to use the fire pit because of the rain, but it's in a great location. Walking around in the mountain woods was also a great activity that brought back great childhood memories for me and is so relaxing. Creekside Retreat is in a great location, close to Asheville and Weaverville. We were able to enjoy the local restaurants in Weaverville, and we especially liked Twisted Laurel (twice.) And the short drive to Asheville was a bonus. Creekside Retreat was immaculate, and we appreciated having dish soap, hand soap, and many other amenities that you don't always find in a rental home. It was a great place to come back to after our day trips around the area. Thank you for sharing your wonderful mountain retreat with us!

This is a Rental Company not an owner. Poor customer service

First of all this property is quite remote. It is pretty and quiet but is at least 15 minutes from the town of Weaverville. So be prepared to stay in after dark unless you want to drive. When we arrived in the evening and went to start a fire in the fire pit, we found beer cans, empty bottles, and pizza boxes which we cleaned up so we could have a fire. The rental company said it was our fault for not contacting them. However, there is only one phone number and it specifically says that after 7:00 is only for emergencies and you will be charged for an emergency. This was not an emergency but super annoying. The place says there's internet. It did not work the first 2 nights and was spotty at best. The place was supposed to at least have Netflix. It never worked and the sign in information was incorrect. The place is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. The biggest take a way is this is a rental company. You have to sign literally a 12 page contract to book. They use this as a basis for not providing what is advertised. I requested compensation due to the state of the fire pit, no internet which cost me money due to unfinished work, no Netflix and the garbage fire pit. They said "sorry" . You signed a contract. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE CON ARTISTS
