WELCOME to the SEA SPARROW! This bright and airy nest is FRESHY UPDATED throughout, and tastefully supplied with everything you’ll need, while still leaving plenty of room for you to spread out and relax. Sleeps up to eight in a restful Seely KING bed ensuite, TWO comfy Seely QUEENS in second bedroom with hall bath, and upgraded QUEEN mattress sleeper sofa bed. As a bonus, this unit has a cozy fireplace and it’s own washer/dryer!
Indulge in a meal or favorite beverage from your perch on the east facing second story DECK; perfectly placed for VIEWS of the refreshing pool, restful green lawn, or watching the sun or moon rise over the sugar sand and aquamarine water, but shaded from the hot afternoon sun.
Cook-in, cook-out or go out. Enjoy the kitchen equipped with all the pots (ie, both types of coffee pots, instapot, crock pot..) community BBQ area, or Gulf-front foodie favorites nearby.
Don’t forget to reserve your BEACH CHAIRS and umbrella. They are complementary with this unit!
Amenities include tennis and basketball courts, swimming pool, beach volley ball, a large grass courtyard, summer family activities, and more. Family activities are free for everyone! They are offered during June and July. For Movie night Monday join us in the courtyard to watch a family-friendly movie on our 16ft blow up movie screen. Movie starts at sunset! Come join us on the pool deck Wednesday for s’mores night around our fire pits. Live music performed. Enjoy sweet treats with us from 7pm- 9 pm. Pool Party Friday starts at 7pm! We have party lights, laser lights, glow sticks, and music for all to enjoy. Join the fun from 7pm-9 pm!

For the price I pay to stay here for a week - I think the bath towels must be ungraded. I’ll be bringing my own next year and made sure to book a room with washer and dryer to clean it. They are hard as a rock and like using sandpaper. It actually hurts when you’ve been in the sun all day. It’s bad

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is a short walk to the beach! It is small, but sleeps 6 comfortably. The condo wasn't cleaned as well as we would have liked. Some areas need a deep clean, especially the kitchen. We have been visiting Silver Dunes for several years. We love the location and uncrowded beach. The beach service is great! Our favorite night is Wednesday because of the s'mores and live music by the pool. Silver Dunes is a family friendly place and we always enjoy our stay!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience with this unit wasn't the best. To start with the pool was down for the first two nights of our stay, the sliding door to the patio was so hard to open it that it took an adult to open it. the patio furniture was flimsy at best. The bed in the master bedroom was so loud that it woke me up every time I rolled over, and it was very uncomfortable. It would have been nice to know that the unit next door was under construction, so starting at 7:30ish till the end of the day we could hear sanding, hammering, and whatever else was going on. We rented some movies to watch with our kids but that did not work out well as the only DVD player that worked for us was the one in second bedroom, with no remote. The second bath had mold around the tub area. overall I was very disappointed in our stay, I'm that it was just this unit as silver dunes was recommended to us to stay at, we will be staying in a different unit on our next trip to Destin.

I always recommend Silver Dunes to anyone thinking about vacationing in Destin. We loved the s’mores and the live music night. About the beach chairs. The new company putting out beach chairs did not keep the seaweed away like George did. I was disappointed that the seaweed was not raked. I did like that the chairs were a little further back and gave us room to build sandcastles between the chairs and the ocean.

Spring break

My husband and my two teenage boys loved this condo and all that it had to offer! Boys enjoyed the basketball court, shuffle board, and beach volleyball. The pool was heated and nice to have when it got chilly at the beach. I can’t say enough about the beautiful beach and it’s proximity to the condo! The only downfall was the cleanliness of the sinks, tub, and toilet. They weren’t filthy but needed a cleaning. Luckily there were magic eraser sponges under the sink and I was able to clean them in no time! We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 5th time staying at Silver Dunes. We love the location and layout of the complex. The beach service, games on the beach and evening family activities were great. There are a few things that need to be updated. For example, the chairs around the pool and garbage chute in building A. The patio doors in building A need to be replaced as well.
