My grandparents built this home in 1971. We are 4th generation Alaskans. My Great Grandparents help build the Alcan Highway. My Grandfather, Art Reinikka was the Chief/Deputy Engineer overseeing the USACE Corp on Elmendorf AFB in the 1940's. My husband I enjoy Alaska and raising our family here. My grandparents built this home in 1971. They built it with Finnish deign. Our family is 4th generation Alaskans. My Great Grandparents help build the Alcan Highway. My Grandfather, Art Reinikka was the Chief/Deputy Engineer overseeing building Elmendorf with the USACE Corp on Elmendorf AFB in the 1940's. He was also the President of the Pioneers of Alaska and very active in the development of city of Anchorage. We enjoy Alaska and raising our family here.

Walk to the Anchorage Railroad at Ship Creek, or Bus Depot downtown. We are seated at the entrance of 2 major bike trails: Chester Creek and Westchester/Coastal Trail. House has a lot of sun - We have a private grill for you and nice deck with picnic tables.
We provide 1- 48 qt cooler, 2 camp chairs, bear spray, first aid kit, backpack, 2 bikes for use while on site.
