Property was perfect and just what we were wanting! Great location! Host got it ready a little early which was great since we'd just gotten off a cruise! Will definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Alaska!
Staying in Anchorage for an extended time I did not want to live out of a suitcase & stay in a hotel. Michelle & Dave were fantastic! They were friendly and helpful. The space was great! Washer, dryer, kitchen and comfortable space made it feel homey. Everything was in excellent condition. The bathroom was very well done. I would absolutely stay again!!
The place was in a great location and close to the Captain Cook hotel, since I will be meeting up with a cruise line and this is the hotel they use the night before cruise. It is within walking distance of the downtown area too.
Location is perfect for Anchorage. Layout was comfortable, the window was left wide open with no screen; hornet nest nearby, had to catch them. And then the old musty old stinky smell was overwhelming. Not sure how one would neutralize that smell. I feel bad giving it a three star. Otherwise, it is a perfect place, location, access!

Lovely apartment, very clean and spacious, kitchen was well set up. Very comfortable bed. Excellent wi-fi connection. Great selection of streaming services on the TV including Disney . Free laundry facilities which I made use of. Free sauna which I didn't use but looked great. Porch with tables and chairs and beautiful view. Felt very safe as a solo, female traveler. Grocery store 3 minutes walk away.
Cute studio, close to everything. It was fun to explore during the day and come back and relax at night (throughout the day). Host was quick to respond when we contacted with a couple of questions. Definitely will look for this location again if we get to explore this area again.
Such a perfect spot in Anchorage, to base my family travels from. I loved coming back to the peace and quiet of the apartment and the neighborhood. My new Anchorage, home away from home!!
This unit was perfect for me & my wife. The kitchen allowed us to fix breakfast every morning before our daily adventures. We could park off-street 20 feet from our door. The location was perfect, within walking distance of downtown, restaurants and many parks & trails. The washer & dryer was a great bonus. Dave & Michelle were wonderful hosts. We hope to return here the next time we're in Anchorage!
The studio was the perfect place for us to kick off our trip! It is walkable to downtown / a number of shops and restaurants. There is a grocery right around the corner. The space is clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and would stay again!
Everything was found as described in the listing and welcome email from our hosts. Easy access and walking distance to a great market and downtown Anchorage.
First stop for my son and myself on our Alaskan tour. Perfect place and price for 2. Very clean, modern and easy. Thanks!

Enjoyed Anchorage
Our stay was nice. Great neighborhood and good location. The room was not ready at the check in time on VRBO, so we had to wait on that. The bikes that the hosts offered were not “ride ready”, needed some work… flat tires, messed up gears. Overall, nice stay.
We enjoyed our stay & the closeness to all activities. Fortunately, most of the time we had the building to ourselves. Footfall from upstairs seemed loud. More insulation would be helpful.
Owner very available and helpful when we needed assistance.
Great location with nearby grocery. We walked to downtown and nearby park. Perfect location to rest from a very long flight. Walked to Alaskan Railway (25') next day. We would stay here again for sure.
Studio unit exactly as advertised. Nicely furnished and very clean. Within one block of city bus #40, direct route from airport to downtown Anchorage. If you are a walker, it is a 15-20 min. walk to downtown; otherwise the #40 bus is very convenient. Full-service grocery store about one block away. My one complaint is that without an on-site manager, we had difficulty in getting in touch with owner for one minor issue. ( (If we had had a big issue, it could have become a big problem.) Otherwise, this studio unit met our needs and I would definitely recommend to other visitors to Anchorage.
We found the property without trouble from the owner's directions. Check-in worked easily. The whole studio was very clean, modern and soothing. We had no trouble with the smart TV. We enjoyed the artwork in the studio, especially the Byron Birdsall print of Juneau. The only draw-back for us was the lack of an oven, which we couldn't see in the photos.
We would love to stay here again!
