We have a keyless lock that we change after each guest so you can check in and out when ever is convenient for you. If you need anything we can come over and help but other than that we will be out of your hair so you can relax.
Historic Old Louisville is the largest preservation district of Victorian homes in North America. It feels like a dream to walk through this neighborhood of spectacular homes. St. James is located right next to the beautiful Olmsted-designed Central Park!
You can catch a bus just one block away on 4th street that will take you just about anywhere in the city. Having a car is a great way to explore the city and state. Downtown & UofL is about a 5 min drive or 15 minute walk. It takes 10-15 to drive to Nulu or the highlands. You can also rent bicycles from us, just let us know in advance.
Free on-street Parking inside St. James court-- park close to the fountain for the short and pretty walk. Parking is available on 4th Street and Magnolia as well.
Safety-
The unit is 3/4 block from the police station and the police patrol the area hourly.

There is a TV with a Amazon Fire stick that you can access your Netflix, Amazon, YouTube ect.
There is an air mattress with sheets & pillows in the bedroom closet if you need them.
The trash & recycling is located in the alley. If trash is overflowing in your kitchen, please take trash to alley.
If you need the laundry facilities, they are coin operated and accessed through the basement which you enter from the back of the building.
Walk toward the alley- walk right (down the alley)- past the trash/recycling-then open the wooden door/gate (with the wire pull). They are located down the 1st set of stairs leading DOWN closest to the gate. The code to the door is listed in the House Binder in the apartment.
