The space was as advertised and served our purposes very well, which was to have a little family time over the 4th of July holiday. It was a very small space, but comfy. Easy enough to find and we had a good time. Just so happened a celebration and fireworks were a short walk down the road. Good time!

We came from out of state for a volleyball tournament and found the location very easy and accessible to everything. The house is older but has been nicely redone and was very clean with everything we needed. I also liked how you would see people walking their dogs around the area every morning.

We found the Kroger supermarket across the train tracks. The area was lush, green and quiet. We visited the Colonel Sanders memorial 2 miles away. Coming from California we appreciated the clouds and light rain the days we were there.We enjoyed our time there!

We stayed in Kristin's place, my husband, myself, and my 6-year-old daughter to do a little vacation in Louisville area. It was a great place, close to everything we did. It was in a very cute neighborhood with lots of beautiful old historic homes. There's a beautiful Park called Cherokee Park about a mile away. We did a little hike there and I went for a trail around there and loved it. We would definitely stay again if ever back in Louisville. Just a couple notes on the place, definitely not deal- breakers. The shower was quite small. I'm a pretty short and petite person and had a hard time moving around it much. Again, not a deal-breaker, but just so you know if you're a really tall larger person, it'll be a tight squeeze in the small shower. My husband is a taller larger guy and he definitely struggled a bit. In terms of the train sounds, there were no train horns as throughout the neighborhood there are signs everywhere indicating no train horns. We could hear them slightly, but they definitely didn't impact our sleep. We use sound machines so we had them on. Kristin also provides sound machines for people. I think someone else mentioned something about the air conditioning. We had no problems keeping the place cool as we were there during some very hot days. Yes, when the people in the first floor are there and have the AC on, it does make it even colder, but even when nobody was below, we were able to adjust the temperature of the place.

This is a nice property in good part of town. The only issue I had was that the listing says King bed and Queen bed, which is what made me choose this property over others, but it is actually a King bed and a Queen Sleeper Sofa. Additionally, calling the sleeper sofa a queen is generous. It's more like a full. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.
